Flau'jae's POV
Once I got to my hotel Dearica was waiting outside my room. I sighed.
"How long you been here?" I tapped my key card unlocking the door.
"Maybe 2 minutes, Zia told me when you was back,"
I forgot she had my location.
"So what was that during the game today?" We barely made it inside of my room.
"Momma D it truly wasn't like that to me. I just wanted to make sure she wasn't hurt and got up properly,"
"Uh huh, so you would've picked up another player like that?"
"Well no.. but I always tryna make sure my girl alright. I didn't mean it in a sexual way but at the end of the day it's gon be protect Angel whether it be from a fall or from crazy niggas,"
Dearica started smiling.
"You was out with her?"
I nodded.
She looked at me.
"I'm still in the doghouse I can barely touch my girl but I know she mine. I just need some more time with the feelings thing and therapy starting next week for me. I'm on the right track for real,"
"She's your girl?"
I started smiling, "she will be and I told manifesting was good,"
"I had a conversation with Rickea today,"
I rolled my eyes. Tired of her ass.
"I think that you guys could build a friendship,"
I looked at her like she was crazy and usually Momma D right but she is bugging.
"That girl is crazy,"
"She needs people that care for her that are about friendship. She's going through things too, remember that,"
"I don't think she's at that maturity level yet for me. And she kinda hurt my feelings today so I'm definitely not talking to her,"
"Good to know that your feelings are working," she laughed. "Also talk to Zia,"
"Alright alright ima go talk to her," I got up and went to hug Dearica.
"Thank you for being such a leader to us and I'm sorry for being in my head earlier. I shoulda locked in and got back into the game,"
"You're growing, I can see it," she hugged me back and then headed out. I followed her out and went to Zia's room.
Once Zia opened the door I gave her a hug. She hugged me tight too.
"I love you,"
"I love you too,"
"I'm sorry for being fed,"
We started laughing.
"Listen we gotta sit and chat I miss you man. Can we play the game? I been losing bad without you,"
"I got youuu, ima go run to the gas station and get some snacks you want sum?"
"You already know what I want,"
We did our handshake and I headed outside.
Once I got into the car I put my seatbelt on and put some tunes on real quick. Since it was late the street was empty. This light was red for so long.
I checked my phone and saw Choppa texted me.
