Boashan Sanren stood before them, her presence commanding yet gentle. Lan Zhan and Wei Ying listened attentively as she began to explain the nature of their new existence.

"As Celestial immortals," she started, her voice calm and soothing, "you possess powers far beyond those of the cultivators.

You can teleport anywhere you wish, simply by thinking of the place you desire to be. You will also be able to hear the thoughts of others unless you consciously block them.

This ability is both a gift and a responsibility. The more you bond, the stronger your powers will grow."

Wei Ying exchanged a glance with Lan Zhan, the depth of their bond evident in their eyes.

Boashan continued, "Your connection to one another is now even more profound. If one of you is in danger or experiences pain, the other will feel it. This bond is unbreakable, and it will serve to protect and strengthen you both."

She paused, her expression becoming more serious. "You are now disciples of the Celestial realm, which means when the Jade Emperor summons you, you must go. Any mission he assigns must be fulfilled, for it is your duty as immortals to maintain the balance between the realms."

Wei Ying nodded, absorbing the information. But a question lingered in his mind, one that had haunted him for years. "If you are so powerful, Grandmother, why didn't you come for me when my parents passed away? Why didn't you save me then?"

Boashan's expression softened with a mixture of regret and understanding. "A-Ying, I did search for you.. She told him everything.

Wei Ying's heart ached at her words, but he understood. He could see the wisdom in her decision, even if it had caused him pain. "I see... Grandmother, I forgive you. I realize now that everything happened for a reason, and because of you, I'm here with my family."

Boashan's eyes softened with relief, and she embraced her grandson warmly. "I am so proud of you, A-Ying. And now, let us enjoy this moment together as family."

The atmosphere lightened as Wei Ying and Lan Zhan introduced their children to Boashan Sanren. The warmth of family surrounded them, filling the room with a sense of peace and unity. Boashan's heart swelled with pride as she watched her great-grandchildren interact with their parents, the bond between them all stronger than ever.

As the evening wore on, the warmth of family surrounded them, but the quietude of the night eventually brought Lan Zhan and Wei Ying back to their quarters, Jingshi.

The moonlight filtered through the window, casting a soft glow over their room. The children had been settled, the day's emotions had begun to calm, and now, it was just the two of them.

Lan Zhan stood by the window, his gaze lost in the distance. He had spent 15 long years yearning for this moment, for the return of his beloved Wei Ying. Now that he was here, alive and well, Lan Zhan could hardly believe it. The ache of those years was still fresh, but the joy of reunion had begun to soothe it.

Wei Ying approached him quietly, wrapping his arms around Lan Zhan's waist from behind. He rested his cheek against Lan Zhan's back, feeling the steady heartbeat beneath his touch.

"Lan Zhan," he whispered, his voice soft and filled with emotion, "I'm here now."

Lan Zhan turned slowly, his eyes meeting Wei Ying's.

There was a depth in his gaze, a mixture of relief, love, and something else... something more primal, more urgent.

He cupped Wei Ying's face in his hands, his thumb brushing gently over his cheek.
