Life's like a roller coaster. With its ups and downs, its turn and flips, the rush of adrenaline and the thrill you get going down a hill.

The endless smile and fantastic feeling you get when the ride slows to a stop, then you realize you want to do it again, but have to leave.

My life is nothing like that.

I live a peaceful life, in a small town, great friends, wonderful pet. I have a great job and a nice home. It's the perfect life.

Though I am only 17, I'm young and have my whole life ahead of me. My parents may be gone, but that barely shakes me anymore.

They left when I was little, around 4 or 5, so I barely remember what they look like.

There was nothing to ever worry about around here.

At least, as far as I knew.
