Piercing message, like a blade, cutting their way through the shade.
My conscience full with thoughts of you, blurry pieces, what's the truth?
Perfect puzzle, yet incomplete, one piece missing, I know the thief.
I know their name, their face, their lies, moths disguised as butterflies.
My heart, it clenches at the thought, hair spreading out, down on the floor.
Cold stone touching calloused lips, like you caressed my aching hips.
Kisses, touches, empty words, the goodbye was quick, but didn't hurt.
