Recap: Sleep-Sleep Fruit can allow the user to affect anything that is living. If done with enough precision, the user can affect certain parts of a being rather than being limited to its whole being. More will be explained throughout the story.

"Oh so you just made it there then?"
I smiled at the voice coming from the transponder snail as I put all my things away, finally in my room, "Yeah. So far Zoro and I are the only ones here."
The transponder snail's expression nervously dropped slightly, matching the man's reaction, "Just you and Zoro, huh?"
"Yeah, he's waiting for me on the deck. We were going to go look around the island while we wait for everyone," Finally finished with putting all my stuff away, I sat at my desk where the transponder snail was sitting at, "How's the ship coming along?"
The man panicked slightly before sighing in defeat, "I wish I had started sooner. Iceburg's been a real help with bringing my designs to life, but I keep forgetting key details."
My lips curled into a smile as I rest my chin in my palms, tilting my head slightly as I looked down at the transponder snail, "Starting now is better than not starting at all. You got this, Paulie. You know everything you need to about ships. The only thing getting in your way is the doubt you hold toward yourself."
The man had began with blueprints after blueprints, trying to get the perfect one before starting to bring the drawing to life, but he was so nervous about messing it up that he was stuck drawing multiple ones for a while. It wasn't until we called a few months later that I suggested he asked his fellow shipwrights and Iceberg for help.
"You read me like a book," He chuckled lightly before his lips rested in a smile, "Thank you for always supporting me and for encouraging me to start. I wish I could help you as much as you've helped me."
Grabbing the small ship model he gave me before we departed, I ran my fingers against the smooth wood, "You did when you faced CP9 with Luffy and them." The memories flashed in my head before I placed the wooden model back in its place, "And you're an important friend to me, Paulie. Of course I'm alway going to support you."
The transponder snail bursted into a blushing mess as I could hear Paulie stuttering, trying to say his next words. A voice in the distance is heard, probably someone walking up to them as they speak out in a teasing voice, "Talking to your girlfriend again?"
Paulie quickly yelled at them, his voice getting quieter as I realized he was walking away from the transponder snail. A little rustling was heard as a different voice spoke through the snail, "Oh, is this Princess Y/n?"
My body perked up at the familiar voice as I sat up from my relaxed expression before smiling widely at the transponder snail, "Iceberg?"
The transponder snail smiled kindly back at me, his voice with the same softness as ever before, "Hello, Princess. How are things?"
"They're good! I just got to Saobody. Zoro and I are waiting for the others to arrive," My eyes looked towards the door, wondering if I was taking too long and if Zoro was getting impatient.
Iceberg hummed in thought before smiling kindly once again, "Well then, I wish you luck. Give my regards to the others." After I agreed to and we said our goodbyes, he turned to talk to Paulie who was still arguing in the background, "Paulie, we still need to go over your latest model."
Another sound of rustling was heard and it seemed like Paulie had grabbed the snail from Iceberg, "I know. I'll be there in a second." All the background voices seemed to slowly disappear as they left Paulie alone once again. The man let out a sigh, a slight blush present on his expression as he spoke a little lower than before, "Sorry about that. They don't know how to give me privacy."
