~•the day that wasn't•~

"I actually like my name"

~•~

"y/n! five!" luther called out for his siblings as diego and klaus ran towards the car, it was as if the uniformed duo disappeared out of thin air.

"what's up with the bunnies?" diego questioned as both him and klaus jumped into the car.

"y/n- jesus lets go" luther said, starting the car and driving away, klaus gave hazel and cha-cha the middle finger as they drove off.

"SHIT!" cha-cha yelled.

"i must admit number 5" the handler started, they were just outside the commission, walking towards it, five held y/n close to him as they followed the handler "in all the time i've been here- i've never met anyone quite like you" five and y/n said nothing to her words, y/n just let her eyes wonder else where before she spoke again "hazel and cha-cha for example are talented- but they cant see the big picture"

the handler suddenly started complimenting five about his spirit or whatever, y/n was too busy looking at a squirrel that was climbing up a tree near by to listen.

if that squirrel falls im gonna loose my shit he's so stupid i swear

you know what else is stupid: taxes

well i cant be one to talk- dad pays for the taxes back then

does that make me one of those "daddy's money" type of people?

probably not

wait would it though?

shit he fell- called it.

Finally they entered the building, the handler guided the uniformed duo around the commission after she took of her coat, handing it to one of the employees.

"id like to discuss the logistics of my family's safety and why y/n should be hired at your earliest convenience" five told the woman they followed up the stairs "as well as both our body replacements"

"such chutzpah- its refreshing, ill admit" the handler said as they duo walked next to her "slow down Hargreeves- all in good time" she commented as the duo slowed down.

they walked pass a room called briefcase room as the handler explained the works of the place they were in, y/n couldn't help but take a glimpse, which caught both five and the handler's eye.

"unfortunately, you wont be in that type of department anymore- but you in the other hand number eight" the handler turned to the girl "will have endless travels, doesn't that sound fun?"

"i suppose?" she answered, hesitant.

"i think you forgot to mention the part about the missions" five smiled at the handler, pulling y/n closer to him, placing his hand on her waist.

"we'll get to that later" the handler returned the smile.

they continued to walk through a hallway where many sounds of clicking was heard "all the people in this floor are case managers, each one responsible for one major event in time" she lead the uniformed duo in front of a room, seemingly having endless people clicking away with their typewriters.

"there's so many of them.." y/n mumbled.

"impressive isn't it?" she breathed "to be a part of something so grand.. come along" she started to walk away, advising the duo to follow her "whenever someone chooses the wrong path, the commission gets a report from field agents on the ground, these field reports are sorted and gets signed by a case manager, they determine if anyone needs to be removed" the handler explained as they entered a room named tube room, she continues to explain the works of this place before turning to them, "any questions?"
