Chapter Four

Joining Dreamcatcher was a very 'in the moment' decision. I knew deep down if I said no to the opportunity I'd say no, I'd always live to regret that decision. Hopefully I won't regret joining.

Siyeon was excited and wanted me to get involved straight away. First thing Saturday, she woke me up and practically dragged me out of the house so I could go to their 'headquarters' and begin helping with their case.

She rummaged through my wardrobe and threw a pair of flared jeans, a tank top and a grey sweater at me. She then pulled out a pair of leggings and red top. "C'mon hurry up."

She leads me out the house and to a black Range Rover a few streets over. I thought at first we were going to wait for someone to drive us but I'm surprised when she pulls out a set of keys from under the car and gets into the front seat.

"Siyeon you're not gonna..."

"I have a fake driver's license. CL provides us with them as long as we get drivers lessons." When she sees me become hesitant about going in the car she tells me, "I'm not gonna crash, CL would kill me."

I get in very slowly and buckle my seatbelt straight away. Siyeon does the same and starts the car. Calmly, she pulls into the road and heads for freeway that leads out of the city. The whole time she's rambling on.

"I bet Yoohyeon will love you. She our tech-y person." She rambles on with a smile. "She's like the Penelope Garcia of the team. But less funny to be honest. SuAa and Dami can be kind of intimidating at first. They may begin to tease you and call it hazing or something. Just stand up to them and they should get off your case quickly."

Just before we fully leave the city, Siyeon pulls into a separate dirt road. We drive for a few minutes on the road until we approach a tall building just outside the city. Siyeon goes into the side of the building, where she has to scan a card to verify her ID. The gates open and she drives into an underground car park.

Despite how crowded the car park is, we find a spot and she leads me into the main part of the building. We walk through the two massive glass doors, into a completely white hallway. At the end two people are standing with tablets. They're wearing black suits and have stern expressions.

Siyeon walks up to them and holds up some sort of ID card. She scans it on one of the tablet. "Handong's with me. CL approved it." She tells them. They check on their tablets and they we walk through the grey double doors behind them.

We walk though another hallway. This one had navy blue walls and white tiled flooring that was so shiny, you could see your reflection perfectly. The walls were covered with photos of the group leaders. As we walked through I glanced at the names and photos. Kim Hongjoong, Lee Taeyong, Kim Taeyeon. The name Kim 'JiU' Minji. It has a photo of JiU with a big smile plastered across her face, like she was made for modelling. At the end of the hallway, there were four photos with the name '2NE1' at the top. There was a photo of Bom, there along with three other names: Dara, Minzy and CL. All four women had photos of them in confident poses and sleek suits.

"These are just for show, company pride, y'know." Bom walks up to us. "Nice to see you again Handong."

Bom has an assistant with her this time. He has a simple grey suit and matching thing framed black glasses. His fluffy brown hair lay perfectly styled so it was out of his eyes and lay in his side. A stoic expression was painted on his face. He was probably an adult, but looked incredibly young.

And hot.

Siyeon slightly nudged me when she noticed me leering at him.

"You too." I smile back.
