" Lani, baby wake up,"  Persephone, said gently rubbing her daughter's back to wake her up. De'Lani opened her eyes at the sound of her mother's soft, angelic voice. " It's your first day of school my love" she said while opening her bedroom window and leaving her room to get started on her breakfast.

De'Lani sat up rubbing her eyes, being careful of her lash extensions she did herself.While stretching, popping a few of her bones. She finally decided to get up after staring at the wall for a cool two minutes." Hey Alexa, Play love no Thotties, by Cheif Keef," she lightly resided her voice as she made her way towards her medium sized bathroom to start getting ready for school.

Walking out her bathroom smelling good due to her using the dove vanilla line and eos vanilla body lotion and coconut body oil. Wrapping her self in her pink fluffy robe, walking over to her vanity plugging in her crimping iron while waiting for it to heat up, she went to her closet to pick out her outfit for the day, knowing it was still summer she decided to wear her sugar pink Lululemon jacket with the matching shorts with her black Yezzy slides, making her matching hello kitty acrylic toes on display.Walking back to her vanity she decided to get started on her hair, first spraying her with heat protector.

Running her acrylic nails through her now finished hair,she was finished with her hair, she decided to do light makeup, only doing concealer to cover her blemishes and using her juvia place blush. Once she was done with her everything the placed her makeup up in its correct place and plugged out her hair crimper.

Grabbing her light blue colored eastpackxtelafr medium tote bag, making sure that she at least has a notebook, folder, her purple iPad Air and Apple Pencil along with her airpod pros at all times.

Walking downstairs she was greeted by the smell of banana pancakes, eggs and sausages." Oh em gee, mi amor, you so pretty, come eat before it gets cold" Persephone said while spinning her daughter to take in her outfit. Quickly praying over her food she began to dig in her pancakes that were covered in strawberry syrup, that combo was literally heaven on Earth.

" Lani, this is the important year in high-school my love. I want you to be more social, go to the games my love, make friends and make some memories. I'm tired of seeing you in this house all depressed n' shit it's not healthy." Her mother said taking light sips of her coffee. De'Lani slightly rolled her eyes making her lightly rolled her eyes making her mother pinch her thigh," ouch ok mami ima try but no promises ok, you know how these girls are, so stuck up like they have a stick up they ass," she said scooping the last bit of her eggs, and then placing her plate in the sink. "Ok Lani I expect you to go out for real, now let's go before you're late for school." Grabbing her bag and house keys heading over to her mom's car, an all black BMW to be exact.

Pulling up to the front of her school, Lani began to get nervous seeing all the students make their way towards the school entrance or towards their friends, she began to get sweaty and nauseous." Just breathe my baby, just be yourself and try best, ok?" Her mother said while rubbing her shoulder in an effort to calm her nerves. Breathing out, she opened the car door giving her mom a kiss goodbye.

Walking into to the school she was greeted with all types of student. Avoiding students, pulling up her class schedule on her phone, not looking wear she was going, she bumped into someone dropping her phone in the process." Fuck" she said ," yo, watch where you going" a brown skin girl with curly hair said not bothering to ask if she was ok. Rolling her eyes, bending down to pick up her phone before making her way to her homeroom class.
