Your POV
The four of us were gathered around Glenn as he told us the plan. It sounded risky, but so did every other plan.
"You're not doing this alone," Rick told him firmly.
"Even I think it's a bad idea and I don't even like you much," Daryl added.
Glenn looked up at them and spoke confidently, "It's a good idea, okay, if you just hear me out. If we go out there in a group, we're slow, drawing attention. If I'm alone, I can move fast. Look." He picked up a black binder clip and placed it on the street layout he had drawn on the floor. "That's the tank, five blocks from where we are now." A crumpled up ball of paper was placed next to it, "That's the bag of guns. Here's the alley I dragged you into when we first met. That's where Daryl, Y/N, and I will go." He put a stick of gum, a small blue piece of paper, and a paper clip in that alley.
"Why me?" Daryl asked skeptically.
"Your crossbow is quieter than his gun," Glenn answered and then turned to me, "And you're probably the best shot out of all of us. If I get in trouble, I trust you to shoot the geeks and not me."
"Right," I nodded. It was true. Even Shane and Rick admitted that I was as good as if not a better shot than them
"While Daryl and Y/N wait here in the alley, I run up the street, grab the bag."
"You got us elsewhere?" Rick asked.
"You and T-Dog, right," Glenn continued. He placed an eraser in another alley, "You'll be in this alley here."
"Two blocks away? Why?"
"I may not be able to come back the same way.walkers might cut me off. If that happens, I won't go back to Daryl and Y/N. I'll go forward instead, all the way around to that alley where you guys are. Whichever direction I go, I got you in both places to cover me. Afterwards, we'll all meet back here."
Daryl looked up at him, asking curiously, "Hey, kid, what'd you do before all this?"
"Delivered pizzas. Why?"
I couldn't help but grin and let out a short laugh while the others shrugged.
A Few Minutes Later...
I climbed down the ladder behind Daryl and Glenn. My baseball bat was secured in my belt loop and my gun was in my back pocket.
After Daryl and Glenn hopped off the ladder, I did the same, holding my bat in my hands and creeping behind the two men as we hid behind a dumpster near the end of the alley.
"You got some balls for a chinaman," Daryl said as he loaded his crossbow.
"He's Korean," I corrected.
"Whatever."
Glenn ran to the edge of the alley, looking out at the street for a moment before running out. I crouched flat against the wall near the front of the alley between the gate and another dumpster, watching Glenn to make sure he didn't need my help.
Suddenly, I heard a voice shout, "Woah, don't shoot me! What do you want?"
I turned, peeking my head out from behind the dumpster to see Daryl pointing his crossbow at a guy who looked barely 18.
"I'm looking for my brother. He's hurt real bad. You seen him?"
"Ayudame!" The kid started yelling for help.
I quickly shot up, holding my bat as J made my way toward him, "Shut up! You're gonna bring the Greeks down on us."
"Answer me," Daryl demanded.
