[Bakit ka wala sa office mo?] Mom called.

I was in the kitchen table, eating cereal.

"Wala naman nang gagawin, waste of time," I said.

They were our family friend. Parang nakaka-guilty namang humindi, proud nga pala sila tito't tita noon.

"Sige."

[Sure ka?]

"Oo, bakit?"

[Wala, nagulat lang ako, um-oo ka, pero just to remind you para hindi ka na magulat, I think ine-expect mo na rin naman 'to, si Stephen yung magiging C.E.O. doon.]

"Bakit?

"'A, oo nga pala," I nodded.

F.C. meant 'Fernando Construction.' The building that my parents owned, located in the Bonifacio Global City.

"Sige."

[Sige, bye na, 'nak, good luck.]

"Bye, ma, love you."

[Love you more, 'nak] she ended the call.

I went to the sink and washed the bowl before brushing my teeth and going back to my room.

I did nothing the whole day but eat and scroll through my cellular telephone while rotting out of boredom, then I slept.

I woke up in the night and applied an ice cube on my face before dressing up to go to a restaurant for dinner. I didn't want to cook for dinner, I usually ate at a restaurant.

"2 pieces of steak and additional rice, and a red wine please, thank you."

1 piece of steak and a few rice weren't enough for my stomach.

The wine was initially served, and the glass was already voided before I even got my steak, so I ordered a red wine again.

After a few crumbs at the plate were eaten, I straightly drank my glass of wine before paying my check and going out of the restaurant.

I roamed around the Bonifacio Global City before going back to my unit.

As a teenage girl, I always wandered around here, but now that I'm 27 years old, I'm always busy, so I'd rather sleep than to waste my energy here, but I just miss it now that I have nothing to do, so I tried again. I couldn't even appreciate BGC or other places the same way, I just became nonchalant with everything. I just live with the memories, not with the present. Memories of him, with him, memories when I wasn't knowing him yet, and the visions of him that I had made, but I tried not to, so I tried distractions, and I tried insulting him. I'm nonchalant with everything, but it's different when it's him.
