The sun rose ages ago. Why was y/n still sleeping? She sat up, and walked over to wake Taylor. The two of them walked to the duty roster list for the day and y/n saw that she had to wait hand and foot to Paul atreides that day. "Lucky you! We all know you have a huge crush on that guy." Taylor squealed as y/n smirked.
Y/n walked to Paul's bedroom, then knocked sharply on the door. "Come in." A voice from inside said. Y/n pushed open the door, and face to face with Paul. He was shirtless, about to finish dressing. "You must be my new personal assistant." He remarked. "No- I'm only for the day." Y/n replied, breathless and red faced. "Are you okay?" Paul asked, noticing this. "Yeah I- I'm totally fine." Y/n replied, embarrassed and flustered. She passed him the tray and told him she would come back for it later in the afternoon, then left.
Back in the dorm, it was break time. Y/n, Sabrina, and Taylor were huddled together, talking. Benjamin came over and pulled his gf away, leaving y/n and Taylor alone together. "So, how was it?" Taylor leaned in closer. Y/n giggled, knowing exactly what she wanted to hear. "Well, we didn't do anything but... his shirt was off." Y/n's face had flushed scarlet. "I got so nervous I blushed and my face was red. He noticed." She continued. "I bet he thinks I'm crazy." She thought out loud. Taylor put her arm around y/n, reassuring her. "Oh, no. I've got dinner duty. I can't go back to Paul's room to clean up. Are you free? Maybe you can help me." Y/n said, disappointed . Hearing this, Taylor nodded.
Taylor:
Break is over, time to go to Paul's room. I wave goodbye to y/n, she looks sad. It's okay, she'll be fine. I arrive at Paul's room, knocking on the door. He lets me in. "Good evening", I say, "My name is Taylor, y/n has dinner duty so she will not be able to come here." I start dusting the room. "Hey, Taylor, is it?" He asks. I nod. "Can you give me advice? Like... relationship advice?" I nod once more. " there's this girl, I really like her. But.. we just met, and I don't know if she feels the same way." Oh no, y/n would be so heartbroken if she knew. "How do I tell her?" He asks. "Just get her alone, then reveal your feelings in private. It will be best to keep it a private matter at first. Only tell people you trust." I reply coldly, knowing how sad and disappointing this would be for my best friend.
Third person pov:
As the night falls, Taylor makes her way downstairs back to the dorm. Y/n is sitting there, waiting for her. "Well? Did he say anything?" Y/n asks. Taylor shakes her head. A lie. "No, it was all normal." She responds. "Did you hear? Sabrina and Ben got in trouble, they were caught together instead of working. Matron got so mad her face went purple." Y/n gossips to Taylor. They both yawn. It was late, past midnight. The both of them climbed into their separate beds and fell asleep, awaiting the next day.
