falling in love?

part 1 •

"Halle!" I heard my little sister yelling from downstairs. It was 6 in the morning. I ran downstairs, thinking she was hurt. "Tay are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah? I just need help with my homework" she said

"Taylor you can't worry me at 6 in the morning you idiot." She laughed. "Oops. I don't understand math can you please help?" Two hours later, i had actually left for school after helping her. I ran to my best friend, sienna walker. "Hal! You wont believe it." She said.

She said this every morning, so I had a feeling it wouldn't be a big deal. "Jordyn Wyatt and Aubreigh Evan's broke up." She said. Yeah, not important. Still a bit big though. Jordyn's the most popular guy at our school ever for.. some reason. Him and aubreigh have been together since kindergarten on and off.

"It's not surprising Sie. Aubreighs a bitch. Must be hard dating her."

"Um, Jordyn's also a bitch. They were a perfect match." I laughed. We walked through the halls to find our class. We both always had math first period, so we sat together. Aubreigh was also in this class. As we sat down, we saw her walk in. Mascara smudged, crying, hair messed up.

"Can't believe you were best friends with her.." sienna said. Aubreigh and I were inseparable until I realized she's weird as fuck in a bratty way, she's very manipulative. She usually went up to me to insult me every morning, but today was different.
"Halle fix my mascara!" She said. "Aubs, why should I do that for you?" She screamed and walked somehwere else as me and sienna laughed.

"I kinda feel bad now" I said. Even though I shouldn't. Class finally started

At lunch I sat down with sienna. We were talking for a while until she said something not usual. "Uh, hal, Jordyn keeps staring at you." She said. I looked behind me and he was staring, when he saw I noticed he quickly turned. "Weird" I said

For the whole day I saw him glancing at me a lot. I went home, my aunt was there. She came sometimes to check up on us, since my dad was.. not very good at that. "Halle could you babysit my friends daughter tonight? I know it's last minute but it's quite important" she said. She asked a lot. I was good with kids though.

"Yeah, sure. Just send me the details." After a couple hours, I ended up going over there.  "Hi Halle!" The girl yelled. I didn't know how she knew me, but she did. Her name was Raelyn. She was adorable. Little small blonde girl.

The house was massive. "Thank you so much for babysitting. I know it's last minute.. my son is never really helpful when it comes to babysitting. He's at a friends so." I smiled. "It's no problem. You guys have fun" I said. They smiled and said goodbye while I went and watched a show with Raelyn.

After a couple hours with her, it was 8pm. She looked like she was getting tired, her parents said her bedtime was 8:15 so I started getting her ready for bed. When I went upstairs there was a guy shirtless in the hallway. I looked at him for a second when I realized who it was.
Holy fuck.
Jordyn fucking Wyatt.

Raelyn ran to him and hugged him. "Goodnight jordy.. I really like this babysitter. Tell mommy I want her again." She said, whispering. But I could still hear her.

"Do you now?" He chuckled while hugging her then looked up at me.

"Wait, Halle?" "Yeah." I said. "Damn, didn't realize you babysat." He said. "Not really, my aunt asked me to. And im good with kids so.." "wow, are you." "Raelyn, why don't I put you to bed now? It's 8:14." I said

"I'm sleepy" Raelyn said and I picked her up , laying her in her pink bedsheets and tucking her in. "Goodnight Rae" I said, that's what she told me to call her. "Night halle!" I closed the door and went downstairs to the couch on my phone. Someone else came down, it was Jordyn.
