A lady in her 40s was sitting in a car and was thinking about her college days when the driver announced that they reached their destination.
The lady thanked the driver and went inside her flat. The flat seemed empty. She heard some noises from her nephews room and she went inside the room.
She saw her brother and her nephew in a conversation.
"Pata hai hostel ka khaana kaisa hota hai? Halak ke andar kam, baahar jyada nikalta hai." Her brother Anirudh told his son, Raghav.
"Baat toh sahi hai." The lady said, making her presence known to the father son duo.
"Bua."
Raghav came running towards her and hugged her tightly.
"I missed you so much, bua." Raghav said.
"Aa gayi Anuradha Pathak? Mere bete ko mere se waapas lene ke liye." Anirudh said and hugged his sister tightly.
Anuradha chuckled and hugged them both.
"Tum dono toh aise react kar rahe ho jaise main 2 din ke liye nahi balki 2 saal ke liye business trip gayi thi." Anuradha said.
"Main haath muh dho ke aata hu." Anirudh said and went to his room.
"Khaana khaaya mera baccha?" Anuradha asked.
"Nahi bua. Aap khila do na." Raghav said.
"Chal baith. Khilaati hu main." Anuradha started feeding him.
"Bua, mera result aane waala hai." Raghav said.
"Haan toh?" Anuradha asked.
"Aapko kya lagta hai? Mera ho jaayega?" Raghav asked.
"Tera nahi bhi hoga na toh bhi koi dikkat nahi hai." Anuradha said and fed Raghav.
"Agar mera nahi hua toh?" Raghav asked.
"Toh tere iss hitler baap ko chhod ke apan dono ice cream khaane chalenge. Aur main iske office se chhuti leke tujhe padhaungi. Khush?" Anuradha said.
Raghav smiled and hugged Anuradha.
"I love you so much, Bua." Raghav said.
"I love you more."
"Kya baat chal rahi hai Bua aur Bhateeje me?" Anirudh asked.
"Bua se puch raha tha ki mera selection hoga ya nahi." Raghav said.
"Arey, kyu nahi hoga? Itni padhai ki hai tune. Tere exams acche gaye hai. Bekaar me tension le raha hai."
"Aapko nahi hui thi kya tension? Hogi bhi kaise? Aap toh genius the. Aapki All India Rank 384 thi aur bua aapki All India Rank 100 thi. Main toh 2000 ke under bhi select ho jaau na, toh paagal ho jaaunga." Raghav said.
"Peechle do mahine se na tune yeh sab soch ke apna dimaag kharaab karke rakha hua hai." Anuradha said, sternly.
"Isse accha toh tu ek girlfriend bana leta." Anirudh said.
Raghav smiled and looked down as Anuradha rolled her eyes and slapped Anirudh on the back of his head.
"Abey, tujhe pata hai engineering college me kitni shortage hai ladkiyon ki?" Anirudh asked.
"Mummy toh wahi mili thi na." Raghav retorted.
Anirudh mocked his son and then looked at him again.
"Sabki kismat aapke papa ki tarah khraab nahi hoti." Anirudh said.
"Aur kya itni sundar, susheel ladki ko sab koi jaane nahi dete hai." Anuradha said.
"Tu meri behen hai ya uski?" Anirudh asked.
"Teri behen aur uski bestfriend." Anuradha replied.
"Toh tujhe apne bhai se jyada pyaar hai ya apni bestfriend se?" Anirudh asked again.
"Of course, bestfriend se." Anuradha replied.
Anirudh looked at her with a deadpan expression and rolled his eyes. Anuradha chuckled and started feeding Raghav again.
Anirudh looked at the photo on the side table. It was of Raghav and his ex wife Maya. He looked around the room and found motivation quotes pasted on the wall.
Anuradha put a morsel of food on front of Anirudh. As he was to about take a bite Anuradha fed it to Raghav. Anuradha and Raghav bursted out laughing and Anirudh rolled his eyes again. Anuradha again put a morsel of food in front of Anirudh but this time Anirudh held her hand and took a bite.
Anuradha smiled at him and at her nephew.
