Katherine, Rhea, and Aiden hurriedly ascended to the terrace, determined to find Alex and get answers. When they arrived, Alex was leaning casually against the railing, a wide smile on his face as he saw them approaching.
"So, how was the shot?" Alex asked with a tone of misplaced cheerfulness.
Katherine's face was flushed with anger. She stormed up to him, her voice trembling with frustration. "Are you out of your mind, Alex? You hit Noah in the head! What were you thinking?"
Rhea, equally exasperated, added, "You know how serious this is. Noah's brothers are here for the match. They won't take this lightly."
Alex seemed unfazed, his smile faltering slightly. "Why should only they get to be tough on us? Why can't we-"
Aiden cut him off, his voice firm and intense. "It's not about being tough. It's about understanding the consequences. They're not just any opponents; they're Noah's brothers. You don't realize what they're capable of when they find out you've hurt their little brother."
Katherine's anxiety was palpable. Her mind raced with the potential repercussions of Alex's reckless action. The gravity of the situation began to sink in as she envisioned the possible fallout.
The group stood in tense silence, each of them acutely aware of the trouble that could come from this incident. The future seemed uncertain and fraught with potential conflict, leaving them all to grapple with the uneasy reality of the situation.
At the hospital, Noah's brothers and Ethan's brother arrived, their expressions tense and determined. They quickly inquired about Noah's condition and demanded to know what had transpired.
Nicholas, who had been coordinating the response, relayed the events as clearly as he could. "Noah was hit in the head with a ball during practice. It was an accident, but it caused quite a commotion."
Noah's brothers, their anger palpable, didn't take the news well. They issued immediate orders for their guards to bring Noah to them, their concern for their brother quickly escalating into a sense of urgency.
After a short while, the guards appeared in the hospital lobby, leading Noah down the corridor. To everyone's surprise, three additional figures followed closely behind him.
Ethan's elder brother Ryan, and Noah's elder brothers james were waiting for him in the parking lot. They were big, burly men with a fierce look in their eyes.
"You think you can take on our little brothers and get away with it?" James sneered, his fists clenched.
Alex tried to run, but they were too quick. They beat him mercilessly, leaving him lying on the ground in a bloody heap.
Noah watched from a distance, a satisfied smile on his face. He had gotten his revenge, and Alex had paid the price.
James and Ryan were relentless, their fists pounding into Alex's body with precision and force. Alex tried to defend himself, but he was no match for the two older brothers. They had him pinned to the ground, their anger and aggression pouring out of them like a torrent.
Just as it seemed like they were going to knock Alex out cold, Kat appeared out of nowhere, her eyes wide with fear. "Please, stop! Leave him alone!" she begged, rushing to Alex's side.
But James and Ryan were too caught up in their anger to listen. They ignored Kat's pleas and continued to beat Alex, their blows landing with sickening thuds. Kat knew she had to think fast. She rushed over to Noah, who was watching the scene unfold with a mixture of satisfaction and unease.
"Noah, please! Make them stop!" she begged, tugging on his arm.
"I want you to promise me one thing," Noah said, his eyes glinting with malice. "I want you to promise me that you will be go back to being the way you were with us at start.
Kat's eyes widened in shock. "Yes yes please stop them she said, trying to sound calm.
Noah hesitated for a moment, then stepped forward. "James, Ryan, that's enough," he said, his voice firm.
James and Ryan paused, looking at Noah uncertainly. Then, seemingly satisfied that they had made their point, they backed off, leaving Alex lying on the ground. Rhea and Aiden rushed to Alex's side, helping him sit up.
"Alex, oh my god, are you okay?" they asked, her voice trembling.
As Aiden and Rhea helped Alex away, Rhea suddenly stopped in her tracks. "Oh my god," she whispered, her eyes wide with shock.
Aiden followed her gaze and saw Ryan standing nearby, watching them with a mixture of curiosity and concern. "Rhea, what's wrong?" Aiden asked, but Rhea just shook her head.
"It's Ryan," she whispered. "I thought he was...I thought he was gone."
Aiden's expression turned serious. "Rhea, we need to get Alex to the hospital. We can deal with Ryan later."
Rhea nodded, still looking stunned. "Yeah, okay."
As kathrine was about to go with Alex Noah held kathrine wrist she looked at him with question on her face
Leave me Noah Alex need me" she pleaded
Didn't i need you kathrine "Noah asked with demand
Noah looked at Katherine with a mix of concern and accusation. "Katherine, you promised me you'd be there if I needed you. Didn't you? Don't break your promise now.
Taking a deep breath, Katherine nodded resolutely. "I'll stay with you" she said, her voice steady despite the turmoil inside
As Katherine sat by Noah's side, her thoughts were consumed by the turmoil surrounding Alex The dual burden to be with Noah while anxiously contemplating Alex's predicament left her feeling stressed.
