Ethan pulled up to Katherine's house, having offered to drive her home after their intense conversation. As they turned onto her street, Ethan's eyes widened in surprise.

"Wait a minute...this is my street!" Ethan exclaimed, his eyes scanning the familiar houses.

Katherine looked at him curiously. "What do you mean?"

Ethan pointed to the house next door. "I mean, I live right there! I had no idea you lived next door to me!"

Katherine's eyes widened in surprise. "No way! What a coincidence!"

Ethan chuckled. "I know, right? I've been driving you around for weeks, and it turns out we're neighbors!"

Katherine laughed. "I guess we are!"

As they pulled up to Katherine's house, Ethan couldn't believe the coincidence. He had been living next door to Katherine all this time and had never known it.

"Thanks for the ride, Ethan," Katherine said, smiling.

"No problem, neighbor!" Ethan replied, grinning.

Katherine rolled her eyes good-naturedly. "Shut up!"

Ethan laughed and watched as Katherine got out of the car and walked up to her front door. He waited until she was safely inside before driving the short distance to his own house.

As he pulled into his driveway, Ethan couldn't help but feel a sense of excitement. Who knew that his neighbor was the girl he had been spending so much time with?

He was just about to step inside his house when something in the corner of his eye made him freeze. Spinning around, his heart skipped a beat as he saw a scene that made his blood run cold. There, at the edge of the street, Kat was struggling against two men, their faces obscured by dark hoods. Panic surged through him as he realized what was happening—Kat was being kidnapped.

Without a second thought, he bolted towards them, adrenaline pumping through his veins.

the men turned, pulling out a gun and pointing it directly at him.

"Stay back!" the man barked, his voice cold and threatening. Ethan skidded to a halt, his hands clenched into fists at his sides, helpless as he watched them shove Kat into the van. The doors slammed shut, and with a squeal of tires, the van sped off, disappearing into the night.

Ethan's hands shook as he dialed Ryan's number, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. Ryan answered on the first ring, and Ethan quickly filled him in on what had happened.

"Ryan, it's Ethan. I need your help. I just saw Kat get kidnapped," Ethan said, trying to keep his voice steady.

Ryan's voice turned serious. "What? Where are you?"

Ethan explained the situation, and Ryan sprang into action. "I'm on my way. Let's track her phone location and see where they're taking her."

Ryan's tech skills kicked in, and he quickly hacked into Kat's phone GPS. They tracked her location to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town.

Ethan and Ryan met up and sped towards the warehouse, their hearts racing with anticipation. They arrived at the warehouse, and Ethan cautiously approached the entrance.

Ryan nodded, his eyes fixed on the building. "Let's do this."

With a deep breath, Ethan pushed open the door, and they stepped inside. The dimly lit warehouse was eerily silent, but they knew they had to move fast.

"Kat!" Ethan called out, his voice echoing off the walls.

  No response.

Ryan motioned for Ethan to follow him, and they crept deeper into the warehouse, determined to find Kat and bring her home safely.
