Chapter 2: first day at the company

Jisoo's POV:

Today is the day I'm going to know whether I'm gonna get in the company or not.I'm so nervous the whole morning,then a got a phone call immediately answered,but it turned out to be my friend Irene,I got disappointed but still chatted with her for a while.It was almost lunch time and honestly I was losing hope.When I heard my phpne rang and I answered the phone

"hello Ms. Kim.I here to inform you that you have been accepted to the company.Your role is Ms. Monaban's assistant.You'll start working tomorrow,you have to arrive before 9 in the morning.Thank you"

then the ofter person hang up.It was strange the person on the other line didn't even let me response and hanged up,but it's ok since I got the job!!I ran to Jennie and told her I got the job,she was so happy like me.I spent the day happily without any worries,but little but I know that the following months is gonna be a disaster.

Jisoo's POV:

Today is my first day at the company.I got dressed(it's the same outfit as the one I wore in the interview)and ate a full breakfast before going to work.

when I got there I told the receptionist that I was the new employee and I am Lisa's assistant.She then told me to go to the CEO's floor and go inside the office,so I followed her instructions and got in but I didn't see anyone so I waited inside the office.I waited for about 5 minute then the CEO came in.

"so Ms. Kim,how are you?Are you ready for work?You know being my assistant isn't easy,so you must work hard,OK?"she said in the coldest tone I ever hread.

"y-yes?!"

"ok now go to work!You table is outside this room.An employee will show you the way,she is waiting for you outside."

"ok"

I follow the employee to my desk,and started working.
At start,it was fine.There wasn't much work,but after lunch,Ms. Monaban decided to give me a lot of work-she told all the workers to give the finished work for me to check,then give Ms. Monaban,like what?!I just started working and she is giving me works that are inportant to me to check?!Like What the heck?!I can't belive her.I can't complain because she is the CEO and I'm not,so after a millon years(that is only 2 hours)I done half of the work,but the files keep coming up,and I got super busy.Later Jennie called me to ask me "How's work?"I didn't even heard the call the first time she called.When she called me the second time,then I heard my phone ring so I answered with one hand while the other hand was busy flipping through files.

"what is it,Jennie?!Make it fast!"

"why?What's the rush?"

"I'm busy.Ms. Monaban decided to give me lots of work on the first day of work."

"oh.....sad!"

"ouch!!!!"

"what happen Chu?"

"I hit a corner of the table that I'm working at."

"when you come home I'm going to check on you."

"ok"

"now go do your work!"

Jennie then cut the call and I was dumbfounded.But I gained my senses,and got back to work.After a three hours of hard working,I finally finished all the work.By now almost all the employees have gone home.I then gathered all the work I did and went to the CEO's cabin

"Ms. Monaban?"I said in my sweetest tone I had,even though I am angry that she gave me all project to check."I have finished the work you gave me."

"ok put it down here."

she tapped on the edge of the table.I put it down and asked Lisa if I can leave,she just said

"how is your first day of work?"

"It's amazing!"I faked like it.

"amazing!From now on,you'll be working like this.You can leave now."

"I can't wait working here for the rest of the year"I thought.After such a long day,I finally get to go back home and lay on my bed.I will deal with Jennie tomorrow.Now I just have to go to my house and sleep.
