The sun bathed New York in a warm glow that morning, casting long shadows on the bustling streets below. A silhouette in a striking red and black suit stood atop a high-rise, the fabric glinting in the sunlight. Another figure approached from behind—dressed casually, his slender frame a stark contrast to the superheroic stance of his friend.

"You okay there, hyung? You know that JYP won't be happy with you living a double life like this," he teased, a hint of concern lacing his words.

The spider-themed hero sighed, turning to face his friend, a mixture of determination and uncertainty in his eyes. "I know, Seungmin. I know. But just keep it on the down-low for a bit longer. I've got my sights set on another promising man. If he's willing, he can take up my mantle."

Seungmin crossed his arms, a frown tugging at his lips. "Spider-Man is already this town's hero. Are you sure you should be meddling in his territory?"

There was a pause, a moment of reflection as the weight of their conversation hung in the air. The city thrummed below them, oblivious to the challenges lurking just beyond the horizon.

With a heavy sigh, the man flicked his wrist, and a web of vibrant red shot out, catching the sunlight as it soared through the air. In the blink of an eye, he was gone, swinging gracefully into the New York skyline, leaving Seungmin standing alone atop the rooftop.

A gust of wind swept through, ruffling Seungmin's hair as he gazed after his friend, a mix of admiration and concern swirling in his chest. The city stretched out before him, alive and pulsing, but he couldn't shake the feeling that his hyung's decisions were veering into dangerous territory. With a deep breath, he turned to face the bustling streets below, pondering the weight of legacy and the cost of heroism.

Peter Parker walked through the familiar halls of his home, the comforting sounds of New York City filtering in through the open windows. As he stepped out onto the porch, he froze, momentarily caught off guard by the sight before him. Aunt May stood outside, chatting animatedly with a strikingly handsome man. Peter narrowed his eyes, a mix of surprise and protectiveness flooding over him.

The man had an air of charisma, with well-kept hair and a warm smile that seemed to light up the porch. Peter was used to seeing all sorts of characters in his life as Spider-Man, but this was different. His aunt may not have been a model, but she had a warmth and strength that shone through, and seeing her accompanied by someone so striking made him both curious and suspicious.

Peter's instincts kicked in. He approached slowly, trying to gauge the situation. "Uh, hey, Aunt May... Who's this?" he asked, his tone a bit sharper than he intended.

Aunt May turned, her eyes brightening. "Peter! This is—"

"Glad to meet you, Peter," the man interjected, extending a hand. "I'm Lucas. I've just moved to the area and wanted to introduce myself."

Peter shook his hand, still sizing him up. "Nice to meet you," he said, but the slight edge in his voice likely revealed his reservations. "What brings you to our neighborhood?"

"Oh, I'm just getting to know the community and wanted to meet some of the folks around here. Your aunt has been incredibly welcoming," Lucas replied, his smile never wavering.

Aunt May beamed, clearly enjoying the attention, but Peter remained on guard. "Right. Well, we're a pretty close community here," Peter said, his protective instincts flaring. "We look out for each other."

Lucas nodded, unfazed. "That's what I appreciate. It's nice to feel a sense of belonging."

As the conversation continued, Peter tried to keep his skepticism in check, reminding himself that everyone deserved a chance. Yet, deep down, he felt a nagging urge to dive deep into this stranger's intentions. After all, Aunt May's happiness was important to him, and he wouldn't let anyone take that away.
