Out On The Town

Last night was kinda weird between me and Myles. We went to a café and went back to my house and we were going to talk about some personal stuff but my cousins I guess scared him away. He almost kiss me but I had to pull away because one I love austin, two Myles is a nice guy and I don't want to ruin anything in my relationship.
I didn't even sleep at all last night because of it.
I think all I need is to clear my mind and spend some time with my son for once.
I got up and did the normal routine.
Put on my my light purple and black crop top that says 'imposter',put on my blue jeans,and my purple galaxy converse.
I went down stairs to see my son on the couch watching spongebob. I said " carter do you want to go on the town
With mommy"
He looked at me and nodded eagerly.
I looked at him to see he was dressed in kargo shorts with a red shirt that said 'cartoon network' and some red vans. I smiled at him, I remember getting him that shirt when he turned 5 years old.(note that he is five years old) I got my purse and phone and took carter to the car. He got in the backseat and I strapped him in ,then shut the door. I got in the front seat and drove to the mall. I been to new York with Austin before so it's not hard to find the mall.
Carter said " mommy can I get Xbox"
I kept my eyes on the road and said " I will have to think about it.
We got to the mall and I got carter out the car and we went into game stop. I scanned the games for carter to see what he would like and a thought came across my mind I saw him watching spondgebob and they would probably have that game. I went to the front desk and said "excuses me , do y'all happen to have a game with spongebob in it."
The guy who back was turned to me. Turned to face me and the guy was Myles. He smirked at me and said " no I'm sorry we just sold the last one, and ashley are you following me"
I giggled and said" no I'm not following you, I just wanted to clear my mind that's all" he nodded and said " well my shift ends in 3 minutes, want to look around the mall"
"I can't I have my son with me"
He smiled " we can still look around even with him unless your afraid" he whispered in my ear which sent shivers down my spine. Myles leans off the counter and walked in the back of the store. I turned around to find carter who was playing on the Xbox one set up in the front of the store. He was playing the game Lego Jurassic world. I think I'm going to get the game for him. I mean he seems to really injoy it. I walked over to him and said " carter do you want this game" he jump up and down literally screaming yes. I told him to calm down and that I will get it for him.
I walked back to the counter with carter and I rung the bell and myles comes out and said " I have one more minute to help you and we can explore the mall" I told him that we wanted an Xbox one with the game lego jurastic world. He noded and when to the back once more and came out with a Xbox one and the game and rung it up. It came up to 388.95 dollars lucky my dad gave me a credit card. I swiped the card and type in the number. After that was done myles put it in the bag and clocked put and this girl named Miranda took the register and we left.
