Soon, two weeks passed since Darshan had been a new student in school. He grew closer with Meena and me, and he also became more mischievous. One day, after school, Darshan and Meena decided that they should come over to my house to do homework. Yes, it was my house and they decided. The audacity...

"Hey Pari, I think we should come to your house to do homework today, hmm?" Meena asked.

"Well, I'm not completely sure. I think my mom would allow it," I responded, in an unsure voice.

"Well, why don't you message her right now?" Darshan suggested.

I sighed and quickly messaged Mumma.

Pari💬: Mumma, can Darshan and Meena come to our house to do homework with me today?
Mumma💬: Yes, they can come but you three need to finish all of your homework.

I smiled at my phone and quickly told Meena and Darshan the news. "Mumma said you two can come!" I said, in a cheery voice.

"Alright!" Darshan exclaimed, enthusiastically. I laughed.

Soon, we reached my apartment complex and began climbing the stairs. Mumma was waiting for us outside.

"Paru, beta, ask your friends to take off their shoes outside the house, okay?" Mumma said, as we reached the door.

I nodded and told Meena and Darshan to do so. Darshan had a funny smirk on his face. I ignored it and rolled my eyes.

We went inside my house, and I went straight to my room. I changed into a comfortable shirt and pants. Mumma gave Darshan and Meena some snacks. They took the snacks and came inside my room, where we began our homework. Darshan still had a smirk plastered on his face.

"What is it, Darshan?" I asked, with an annoyed expression. Meena giggled.

"Oh nothing, Paru," he said, smirking. I rolled my eyes.

"Who said you can call me that, huh? My parents call me that," I responded, in an annoyed tone. In reality, I did like the nickname, since it sounded cute.

"That sounds so cute!" Meena exclaimed, with a giggle.

"Well, I bet your parents call you Darshu or something!" I snapped back. Meena laughed.

Darshan blushed for a second, and then responded confindently. "My parents don't call me Darshu! However, if you love that nickname so much, you can call me that."

I blushed. What the heck did that mean? "Uhm, alright, Darshu," I responded. Inside my brain, I was so happy! He would now have a cute nickname only I could call him!

Meena smiled. "You two are just so cute sometimes," she said, winking at me.

My face turned redder than a tomato. What did that mean? I look at Darshan, who, for the first time ever, was blushing. "Shut up, Meena, what do you even mean by that?" I asked, trying to sound like the comment didn't even affect me.

"I think you know just what I mean, Pari," she replied, with a smile.

Our afternoon continued, somewhat normally. We completed our homework, barely talking. Meena talked most of the time, and Darshan and I listened. I could sense that Darshan was thinking about what Meena had said. To be honest, I was too.
