17 • ᴛʜᴇ ɴɪɢʜᴛ ꜱᴋʏ

Y/n's Pov

I was a mess infront of him. The kiss wasn't rough nor soft, I didn't expected myself to want more of it , I want him to kiss me yet I didn't. It's only the beginning where we don't have to cross our limits.

Only the sound of our breath was audible in the whole kitchen area, both of us was looking at each other with immense amount of intense. His eyes were looking at me with nothing but love

“Stop me Mi Estrella before I lose my left over sanity” I didn't said anything just looked at him and he understood it what I wanted. He smiled and kissed the crown of my head before losing his grip from the kitchen counter but I was still sitting on it.

“I think you should sleep” I shooked my head, I aren't planning to sleep tonight but to enjoy my alone time with you.

“Tomorrow is their haldi” I said earing a nod from him. The haldi function was tomorrow and before she gets completely drenched in Oppa's colour we wanted her to enjoy her bachelor time with her friends and me ofc.

It was Isha's party but I got the special gift here.  “No Kook let's watch the rain outside” he looked at me for a brief moment and shooked his head

“Why?”

“I don't like rain” dude what?

“How can someone not like the rain bruh?” He grinned at me softly. He sighs before closing his eyes , calming himself for a moment? “Mi Estrella certainly there are some of the things we don't like , and for me Rain comes at the first place”

“Is something bothering you?” I asked and he shooked his head “Don't lie ok?”  god, I can't with his smile. He cupped my face making me look at him

“You know me better, don't you?” trying to change the topic I see.

“Mind telling me the reason” sometimes I want to kill the curiosity inside me because it makes everything a big mess and right now I surely wasn't getting on his nerves but he seems a little off by the topic  “It's ok take your time”

I got off the counter and looked at the ice cream which was half melted right now ,my poor chocolate ice cream. Sigh.

“Even I want to tell you ,are you ready for it? Cause it can be a little tri-” I didn't let him finish his sentence as I kept my hand on his mouth preventing him for futher speaking

“You can trust me” I exclaimed with a soft smile

“I do trust you with my everything Mi Estrella” my smile spreaded more across my face

“It's related to my mom and dad” I frowned, so it's about Mr. And Mrs. Kim?

“Uncle and aunt Kim?” He shooked his head again but aren't they his parents. Ok it's getting more serious right now

It already was bitch. My inner voice retored back
Yeah you shut up for now.

“My parents, Jeon Yunjin and Jeon Haneul they died in a plane crash” a lone tear escaped his eyes at last. I never saw him crying or shedding tears

He left a shaky breathe before continuing “I was only 7 when I lost them and for a moment I thought I don't deserves to live cause they died while coming to meet me” I felt my eyes building up some tears which threatened to fall off

“And guess what it was raining that day, I am the cause because of which my parents died” I embraced him in a tight hug, I know he need it. Finally my tears betrayed me and they fall off my eyes
