Y/n spend her entire day in her bedroom, she didn't even went in the living room or the kitchen. She tried her best to avoid her mother. Sometimes her grandma or aunt tried talking to her because they saw that she was feeling sad, but y/n brushed it off immediately by changing the subject.Deep inside her, all she wanted was her mother coming to excuse her behavior from yesterday, or atleast try to discuss the subject with her calmly. But her mother never came. She waited all day long, from the time she woke to the time the sun set. But it was vain.
She read, wrote, drew, and tried all the activities possible in her bedroom to keep her from thinking to much, she knew it would end up in her crying.
She was worried by the fact that Keiji may have been waiting for her all afternoon since they were supposed to meet to go to the beach. She was scared he would be angry at her.
When the bell of the church rang eleven times, and there were no more sounds in the living room or in the house in general.
She peeked outside and noticed all the lights of the house switched off. So she discreetly exited her room, trying to be the more silent as possible, stopping every-time she would made a branch crack, and anxiously looking around her to make sure it did not woke anyone up.
And she finally reached the portal, and jumped over it. Then she started running toward Akaashi's house, hopping he wasn't asleep.
What she did not notice, was the room, completely at the top of her house, with the window opened, the lights switched on, and someone looking directly at her running away from the house.
When she reached the boy's house, she repeated what she did two days ago: she jumped over the portal, went under his room, and whisper yelled his name.
"Keiji ! You're here ?"
No answer.
"Keiji ? I'm sorry I couldn't meet you today, my mom stopped me."
...
The window opened, revealing a waking up Akaashi. When he saw her, a smile crept on his lips and he waved at her.
"Good evening y/n ! What brings you here ? I thought you were sick since you didn't came today."
"Sorry, I had a fight yesterday with my mother and she punished me by not letting me go."
"No problem don't worry ! What do you want to do ?"
"Uhhh, I don't know... we could go on a walk in the village."
Akaashi send a thumbs up before closing the window. The girl waited some minutes outside before hearing the front door discreetly opening.
They walked around the village, and even in the fields, before Keiji revealed what was in the bag he carried since the beginning.
"Look what I've got from my mother !" He excitedly said and revealed a camera.
"Woaw Keiji its incredible !" The girl was stunned. "It must have cost a lot !" She said, carefully taking the camera from her friend's hands.
"Try it" he said, she looked at him hesitantly, not wanting to admit that she didn't know how to use a camera. She clicked on random buttons before hearing the boy chuckles.
"Look" he gently placed his hands on hers, showing her the different settings.
"Smile !" He exclaimed, taking the camera from her hand. The girl was took aback before hearing a 'click' followed by a flash.
"When I'll get back home, I'll print them." The boy only said, still smiling with a little blush barely visible.
"You will show them to me right ?" She chuckled.
"Of course !"
The girl took again the camera and took a picture of the boy. Then, she posed the camera on the floor pointing to them, and rushed next to the boy. She put her arm around him and smiled. The boy returned her gesture and smiled, putting a small peace sign above her head.
They then sat on a bench in the middle of the village. Y/n laid down and put her head on Akaashi's knees. The boy was a bit surprised by her gestures, but shyly smiled and caressed her hair. They looked at the sky, talking about the stars, the moon. Catching shooting stars.
"Look Keiji ! A shooting star !" The girl exclaimed, pointing towards the sky. The boy looked at where she pointed but that was too late, the stars already disappeared in the infinity of the universe. He looked back at the girl and noticed her with closed eyes and clasped hands.
She opened her eyes and met his confused one, she softly laughed before explaining herself:"I made a wish"
"Oh, what was it ?" She raised one of her eyebrow and looked at him deadpanned.
"Come on Keiji ! You don't even know that we are not supposed to say our wish ?"
The boy was a bit embarrassed, he quickly chuckled and looked away "ahaha, no I don't, why ?"
"Because if we tell others, it's not going to happen."
"Well I hope it happens then."
They became silent. They looked again at the sky before slowly closing their eyes, not even realizing that they were slowly drifting to sleep.
