It's time

I heard crying so I rolled over to check the time, 3 in the morning. I started to get up, but there was this huge pain in my stomach. I couldn't move, it hurt to bad. "Mom" I screamed, she came running in. "What honey, are you okay?" she asked me. "Mom, I can't get up, my side, it's hurting to bad, it feels like someone just shot me" I responded. "OK, don't worry, it's okay" she said with a worried tone. "Check on Amber and Gus first, they're crying." "OK, I'm going to go get dad to take you to the hospital. I'll get Amber and Gus ready to go" she said. "No, mom it's OK, I'm fine." She looked at me with a knowing look. With a sigh she responded with "The pain is dangerous to you, something could be wrong. We're going to the hospital, end of discussion."

She left and a few minutes later dad was in my room ready to get me ready to go. He lifted me from the bed and took me to the car. Once we got to the hospital mom went inside and told them what happened. She came out and gave us a thumbs up to go ahead in. As dad carried me in I screamed for Amber and Gus. Dad told me that mom would bring them in, in a second. We got in the hospital and the doctors put me on a bed and rolled me into a room.

A nurse came in and helped me get dressed, considering that I couldn't really move. As she did she told me that my boyfriend was here to see me. I was a little confused, but then I realized that she meant Issac. "No, he's not-." The nurse cut me off and said "Talking makes it worse. You are going to take a CAT scan, tho check thing out, so don't talk." If she didn't want me to talk then she shouldn't talk to me, just saying.

I got my CAT scan done, and bad news I have a tumor, and a Bad one to. Only a couple months to live. Mom was in the room when the doctor told us the news. Once the doctor stepped out mom told me that Gus said his first words, they were "Mama." He said them as I was rolled away on the bed. As mom told me I started to lose sight, everything was becoming blurry. Her voice was fading out. All I could her was "Hazel, Hazel, Hazel." Then everything went black. In no time it was bright again. I saw a bright white light. I started to walk towards it, but I realized that Augustus was holding out his hand to me. I understood, it was my time. I started to reach for his hand, then it went black once again. I could hear voices saying "She's back." I opened my eyes and looked at mom, she was staring at me like a miracle had just happened. "Hey Hazel, welcome back."
