04. "𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘱 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵"

Cassie sat in her dorm. All that she could think over was the kiss that she had with Draco. She had no idea what was going on. All that she knew was that she had spent most of her life being the outsider of the family. She knew how she was finally getting to know who her mum was and how it was far from easy

She knew that her head was completely battered when it came to Draco and she knew that she and him were in detention together for the rest of the week and she wasn't in the mood to face him. She knew it was awkward

Cassie got out of bed and got dressed as she looked to Luna and smiled "are you okay?" Luna asked as Cassie looked to her and smiled

"I guess things are weird around here that's all" Cassie said as Luna nodded

"There is something weird going on it's as if everything is changing" Luna said as Cassie looked to her and smiled

"Tell me about it" Cassie said as she sighed. She knew how she had defence against the dark arts class as she had heard things from the twins and she knew that she wasn't looking forward to it

"Ex-Auror. . . . . .Ministry malcontent. . . . . .and your new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. l am here because Dumbledore asked me. End of story, goodbye, the end. Any questions? " he said as Cassie turned to look at him and rolled her eyes

"No way. The old codger can see out the back of his head. "

"And hear across classrooms! So which curse shall we see first?-Weasley! -"

"Yes? " Ron said scared as Cassie smirked at what a coward that he was

"Stand. Give us a curse. "

"Well, my dad did tell me about one. The lmperius Curse. " Ron said

"Oh, yeah, your father would know all about that. Gave the Ministry quite a bit of grief a few years ago. Perhaps this will show you why." Moody said as he picked up a spider from the jar

"Hello. Lovely little beauty. Engorgio. Imperio! Don't worry. lt's completely harmless. lf she bites. . . . . .she's lethal. "What are you laughing at? Get off! Talented, isn't she? What should l have her do next? Jump out the window? Drown herself? Scores of witches and wizards have claimed. . . . . .that they only did You-Know-Who's bidding. . . . . .under the influence of the lmperius Curse. But here's the rub: How do we sort out the liars? Another, another. Up, up. Come on. Longbottom, is it? Up. Professor Sprout tells me you have an aptitude for herbology. "

Cassie smirked as she looked to him as he hovered the spider in top of dracos head

"There's the. . . . The Cruciatus Curse. " Neville said as Cassie frowned.

"Correct, correct. Come, come. Particularly nasty. The torture curse. Crucio! "

"Stop it! Can't you see it's bothering him? Stop it! " Hermione yelled

"Perhaps you could give us the last Unforgivable Curse, Miss Granger. No? Avada Kedavra! The Killing Curse. Only one person is known to have survived it. . . . . .and he's sitting in this room." Moody said as they looked to Harry

Cassie walked out of class as she followed the golden trio. She didn't want to be near them

"Brilliant, isn't he? Completely demented, of course, and terrifying to be in the same room with. . . . . .but he's really been there, you know? He's looked evil in the eye. " Ron said

"There's a reason those curses are unforgivable. To perform them in a classroom. . . . l mean, did you see Neville's face? " Hermione said as they saw Neville standing on the stairway as moody caught up to them

"Neville? Son? You all right? Come on. We'll have a cup of tea. l want to show you something" he said as Neville walked off with him

"Why do you three even act like you care you don't care about him" Cassie said as she pushed past them

Cassie walked down to lunch as she saw Marnie "hey how was defence class" Marnie asked

"Tense was moody always that intimidating" Cassie asked as Marnie smiled

"He's something"

"So now I know that you're my mum. Can I live with you" Cassie asked. She knew that she felt unwanted by the weasleys and how she wanted to be where she was loved and wanted with her mum

"I want that more than anything trust me I do but it's not that easy but I promise you I am doing all I can to get you back okay" Marnie said as Cassie nodded

Cassie knew that she didn't care what the Weasleys thought that they had done for her. She knew that the twins were the only wants that care and Cassie knew that she just wanted a real home with her mum

Cassie walked into detention and sighed as she saw Draco. She knew how awkward that things were between them and she knew how it wasn't easy

"We can't keep tiptoeing around each other forever" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"Don't you thinking I know that Draco. Look we kissed and after since I don't even know" she said as he nodded

"I know. Look the kiss shouldn't of happened but it did" he said as she nodded

"Yet here I am and I can't stop thinking over it, over you" she said as they held a look.

He pulled Cassie to him and leant in and kissed her as she kissed him back. He backed her up smashing a desk as he stood between her legs as he ran his hands up thighs as they kissed passionately

She ran her hands down his chest and moaned into the kiss unaware of how everything was about to change between them
