as we hoping off of of the alpha gyarados

Akari: good job gyarados return *returns pokemon* alright canalave city is over there *points* lets go

Irida: another place founded by mining huh? people can find place to live in the weirdest places, i dont recall this island being here?

Akari: well several volcano eruptions which give the islands there shape and the volcanos are now dormant  and now here we are

Irida: make sense....*sigh*

Akari: whats wrong?

Irida: i heard theres a blimp ride to canalave, couldnt we just took that than riding gyarados?

Akari: well i want some of the water and flying pokemon to get some time out

Arezu: so can we ride on the way back?

Juniper: i like to request that as well i never rode one either

Akari: ok we'll do that after i get my badge. i do that tommorrow but for now lets head to the center,  eat dinner and take a bath

Everyone: yup

-the next day-
-canalave city gym-

Akari: hello? is byron here?

???: depends... are you a gym challenger?

we turn to see a man with a shovel

Akari: yeah

Byron: then yes, by any chance are you the special case i heard about with the bigger version of pokemon?

Akari: yup

Byron: then do you have a bigger steelix?

Akari: yeah

Byron: *smirk* then i propose a special gym challenge, your big steelix vs. my mega steelix *turns his shovel to reveal a mega stone in the hilt*

Akari: sure im game

Byron: great lets go

-later-
-canalave gym arena-

Referee: this will be a 1-on-1 battle between byron's mega steelix vs akari's ...

Akari: alpha

Referee: thank you... vs akari's alpha steelix the battle will be over when either pokemon is unable to battle, trainers sent out your pokemon

Akari/Byron: go steelix

and we sent our steelix and mine being the bigger one

Byron: my thats big... how gig is that one

Akari: 36 ft.

Byron: oh my is the biggest one on record is 29 ft..... oh well *press the stone* mega evolve

and then byron's steelix

Referee: battle begin

Byron: use defense curl

Akari: use rock polish

Irida: so byron's increased their defence while akari's increased his speed greatly

Akari: great  now use curse

Irida: what does curse do again?

Juniper: depends on the pokemon, it increases some stats but decreases some i think steelix increases attack  while decreases speed and defence

Irida: oh clever used rock polish to increase to greatly increase speed

Byron: use smack down

Akari: block it with fire fang

as byrons attack while mine blocked with fire fang which caused damage to byron's

Byron: not bad

Akari: thanks

Byron: use automize

Akari: use rock polish

Byron: use dig

and then the mega pokemon dove underground

Akari: bad idea use earthquake

and then the alpha slammed its tail which caused it to quake which sent the mega above ground

Akari:  finshed it with fire fang

and then the alpha  go towards with breat speed and bite the mega with a firey bite causing it to faint

Referee: byron's steelix is unable to battle akari's is the match goes to her

Akari: nice job bud gets some rest *returns pokemon*

Byron: guess i got caught up, maybe i should work on my  defence more hahahaha

Akari: maybe

Juniper: [i wonder this is why he loves defence so much...]

Byron: well a loss is a loss, here you go *tosses me a badge*

Akari: thanks thats 2 to go

after the match we went to the center to recover and then hoped on the last blimp flight of the day and to fly back on the way we saw another a blimp as they cross each other we saw ash, dawn and brock in the other blimp and they saw us so we waved at each other and then we laanded and head to the next gym and where irida home once stood.... snowpoint city
