Ilang beses akong sinubukang kausapin ni Dad. At ilang beses ko din siyang tinaboy. He sent flowers to my condo and gallery every day. He even attempted to a studio for me as an applogy gift for me but I vehemently declined it and asked him to give me space.

Matapos ang tatlong linggong pangungulit ay tinantanan niya na ako. Pero araw-araw pa rin na nagpapadala siya ng flowers at pagkain sa gallery.

Silver and I went to Palawan and stayed there for a full week to celebrate her birthday in advance.

Nag-party kami sa El Nido. Met a bunch of people. Danced and got so drunk, we both ended up sleeping on the bathroom floor of our hotel room. Buti nalang ay malinis ay magarang hotel na na-book namin.

We got drunk for three days straight. On the fourth day, we explored the island and did island hopping.

On the sixth night, pumunta kami ni Silver sa Coron dahil may gig daw doon ang isang sikat na banda.

"I take... one step... away... Then I find myself coming back... to you... My one and only, one and only... I take one step... away. And I find myself coming back... to you... My one and only, one and only you..."

One minute we were jamming and having fun, and then the next we were both crying, sobbing ugly.

In my defense, talagang naka-relate ako sa kanta. Hindi ko alam kung sinabayan lang ako ni Silver o siya din ay naka-relate?

Long story short, we had a great time.

My friendship with Silver was the kind of friendship that you thought would never happen. It was unexpected and yet, I felt like I've known her for many years.

It also helped that she is also an artist so we bonded a lot, sketching as we watched the sunset.

And then after that, Calum and I went to Bohol and did snorkling. Nag-scubba diving din kaming dalawa doon.

By the time we went back to Manila, bahagyang sunog na ang mga balat naming pareho.

Cal constantly checked on me and tried to take me out as much as he could. We are also planning to visit Kuya Nate in Paris in the next few months. And Calum promised to go with me to Africa to visit the small village we were still actively supporting.

Kumakain kami ngayon dito sa studio ko. I mean siya pala. He was still eating while I was already done. Naka-indian seat ako sa sahig habang nagpipinta at siya naman ay nanatiling nakaupo sa high chair sa gilid ko.

"What's that going to be?"

"A scenic landscape of a banana plantation in Davao. A client wanted something for his office and requested for this," sagot ko habang nakatabingi ang ulo at ini-inspeksyon ang ginagawa ko.

I recently started to accept commisions from a very few and selected clients. Mostly sa mga clients ko na dati.

"Oh, they own that?"

"Yup."

"That's a hell of a banana plantation."

Ngumisi ako. "One hundred hectares of fully planted bananas, crazy, isn't it?"

He chuckled. "Yeah, outrageous amount of bananas... Anyway," he paused making me glance up to him sideways.

"Leyton invited us over for dinner," he bit his lips and regarded me with hesitation in his eyes. "Kai is going to be there..."

Agad na kumabog ang dibdib ko nang marinig ko ang pangalan niya.

The paintbrush in my hand froze in the air and I put it down with slightly trembling hands.
