Middle school days are rough. Especially when every day you're being harassed and tormented by your ex- childhood best friend. Midoriya Izuku could tell you all about that. The same routine every waking morning.

Rush out the door

Go to school

Get belittled by his teacher

The class making fun of him

And then Bakugo Katsuki...

Bakugo was the worst one. All he ever did was beat up and toy with poor little Izuku. This little habit of Katsuki's behavior started in his early youth, around the start of elementary school. The child decided that he was better than everyone when we found that he was the top student. Izuku admired Katsuki... He even came up with the name "Kachaan". Kachaan did the same, giving Midoriya the name "Deku". Unfortunately the name wasn't some cute nickname, no it meant useless. The bitter child was so blinded by his own superior complex to the point that he would even insult his own best friend. Things started to get physical after one day Deku and Kachaan went to a river with some of Katsuki's other friends. Marching down a log hanging above a small river the kids followed the blonde. Katsuki mistepped and took a fall into the water below. Everything seemed fine, until Izuku ran down to help his friend. Bakugo felt inferior at that moment, and since then he felt the need to put the curly haired boy in his place.

The final year of middle school had finally arrived. Izuku was thrilled at the thought of applying to a highschool across the city and starting new. Life had been miserable the past 9 years. He just wanted to get away from it all, especially Kachaan.

"Move it you damn nerd" A rough voice yelled as it felt like Izuku had run his shoulder into a brick wall.

"Are you fucking blind Deku?"
Of course he had to run into Kachaan out of all people.
"Sorry Kachaan..." the green haired boy whispered
"The FUCK DID YOU SAY?"
"I said I was sorry, damn"
"I TOLD YOU TO NOT CALL ME BY THAT FUCKING CHILDISH NAME"
"Someone's mad"
"Do you want to get your ass beat?" The blonde suggested with malice
"I'm good!" Izuku squeaked while walking towards their homeroom class.

Same routine as usual.

Over and over and over and over.

The last bell rang. Izuku was ready, racing to get his backpack and head out the classroom before Bakugo could notice his presence.

THUD

Before Izuku could react he was already on the floor. A firm hand pulled him up by his collar as he heard a "CRACK". The freckled boy's vision grew blurry as a hard throbbing plus a headache creeped behind his eye. All he could make out in his disorientation was spikey blonde hair and a hint of red where a pair of eyes should be.

"Don't think that because you all of a sudden grew a pair doesn't mean I won't beat your ass" A raspy voice whispered as Izuku's ear forcefully drew closer to Bakugo's mouth.

Bakugo threw Deku to the floor one last time before walking out. Izuku grabbed his bag and did the same, but making sure he kept a good distance from Katsuki.

Buzz

Midoriya's pocket rattled.

'A notification?'

He unlocked his phone to check who it was, and what they wanted.

A smile ran from ear to ear. Izuku tapped as fast as he could.
