𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐑𝐀𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 both Rory and Clarisse's heads ever since they separated was that they wanted to end everything.

Rory had reasons, being she was stuck in a tiny and suffocating diner with Ares; the god of war. Clarisse on the other hand was practically third wheeling the two younger demigods.

It had only been a couple of hours since they separated, Clarisse had managed to get through a suffering and awkward silence between Annabeth and Percy; Rory was still shocked that Ares and Grover were able to down ten cheeseburgers in fifteen minutes. All she had been doing was taking bites at the fries.

The trio had finally made it to the amusement park that Ares had left his shield in, the sign reading Waterland above.

"I haven't seen a lot of horror movies, but this seems like exactly the kind of place they'd suggest to avoid." Percy's voice spoke up after a while of silence.

Clarisse would agree with the boy, being he was right. Clarisse remembered the Friday movie nights she would have with her mother ever since she was little, the movies ranging from comedy's, to musicals, to horror, to watching the entire disney princess catalog. She missed those memories, they seemed even more fun when her old best friend would be present, the little blonde girl would always bring the uncontrollable laughter out of them.

She always wondered what her name was, or how she was doing now.

"I've never seen any kind of movie. I'll have to take your word for it." Annabeth informed, both Percy and Clarisse looking at the shorter girl in surprise. Annabeth did have a good seven years of life before coming to camp, and she's saying she's never watched a movie?

"Never?" Percy seemed to ask the question the two were thinking. "What do you mean "never" like, "never-never"?"

"Is there another kind?" Annabeth asked, the silence growing between the two again, which made Clarisse slightly roll her eyes. Not even her and Rory were like them.

"Have you ever watched a movie?" Percy asked, turning to the taller girl with a confused face.

"Too many to count." Clarisse answered blankly, nodding her head at the boy as he nodded back.

"Well, if neither of us is dead in a few days, we really ought to fix that. You're missing out." Percy said, causing Clarisse to grow a smirk.

Did Percy Jackson just ask Annabeth Chase on a movie date? Just wait till she told Rory about this.

"In the meantime, we should probably get this over with, though." Percy shrugged off, walking forward and going through the moving gate.

Clarisse honestly felt like she was intruding on something when it came to being alone with just Percy and Annabeth.

As the gate creaked and Percy went through, Annabeth stopped him quickly. "Wait, Percy, stop." The sound of metal clanging was heard.

"Wait, what just happened?" Percy asked, bith him and Clarisse pulling confused faces.

"Just hold still. Gimme a second." Annabeth only said.

"Owl, what's going on?" Clarisse asked the younger girl, slight worry in her voice. Was she worried for Percy's sake? Not really. Was she worried for Rory's sake? Very much.

"In the mechanism there, that's Celestial bronze." Annabeth stated, Clarisse slowly catching on.

"Oh, wow, fascinating. Annabeth, what is happening right now?" Percy said, sarcasm radiating off his tongue in the first half of his sentence.
