"I bet you can't swim" Indigo teased as she got into the water, Walker following behind her. "Im Percy Jackson, I can swim just fine" He smirked as he swam to catch up with her.
"Alright dude, but now what?" She stood there in the middle of the pool, "We play mermaids" He says. "No, you don't deserve to hear my mermaid voice" She shook her head. "Why not?" He chuckled, "For my sisters only" She told him.
"Fair enough" He accepts it, "Wanna see who does the best backflip", "Who told you I could backflip, Scobell." She furrowed her eyebrows. "You can't? Into the pool?" He shook the water from his hair as he pulled himself up to the surface.
"Let's see yours then" She swims back, eager to see. She watches him as he went on the dive board. Weird thoughts started to come to her mind, why is Walker kind of... no, no never in a million years. She ignored the voices as he went back then ran off and did the backflip into the pool.
"Not too shabby!" She says, impressed as he emerged from the water. "Thanks, now your turn" He responds. "Alright, I genuinely think I could do it. Should I actually try" She gains a random amount of confidence.
"Well if you've atleast come close before then you should try" He told her, "I haven't but, let's see" She climbs out of the pool. She does the exact same thing she saw Walker do before attempting the backflip from the board into the water.
She thought she was doing good before scratching her head against the dive board as she went down, since she was too close. She put a hand against her forehead in pain as she tried to swim to the pool deck to gain balance. All she could hear was Walker calling her name multiple times in fear as he quickly swam to her.
"I still don't get why you want to hide this from your parents, they're gonna see the huge Elsa and Anna band aid on your fucking forehead" Walker chuckled lightly as she was sat on the outdoor bathroom counter, placing the bandaid on the bloody scratch.
"Because, mom and dad already threatened to remove the dive board after James had an accident on it and this would be their last straw, except I love it and I don't want them to remove it so.. no telling dad about this" She looked back at him at the last part. "Alright you have my promise" He put his hands up in surrender.
The bandaid was slightly peeling off her forehead because it was wet, Walker took notice of that and placed his thumb on it, sticking it back on. "Thanks" she muttered as he just replied with a nod.
"So what's gonna be your excuse then?" He asked Indigo, "I'll say you hurt me, real bad. You pushed me to the ground" She had an evil smile plastered across her face.
"You're actually insane. Go back to the asylum" He placed his hands on the counter, so her legs were between his arms as their faces were inches away. "Ew I can smell your disgusting breath, get back" She placed her hand on his chest and pushed him away, jumping off of the counter.
"I don't have bad breath, you're just projecting" He scowled at her, "You're annoying so that means you automatically have disgusting breath and you smell. Hope that helps" She smiles at him before immediately changing it to a death stare.
"I leave you alone with my daughter for an hour and you bring her back with a boo- boo?" Ryan crossed his arms as the two teenagers walked in the living room after they changed. "He's mean" Indigo fake frowned as she hugged her dad.
"You're a big baby" Walker shook his head at her, not being able to fight back his smile. "Walker what did you do to her" Ryan said with his daughter in his arms. "It involved my pocket knife" he joked.
"In all seriousness, what is it?" He looked at Indigo, "Um, I was really close to this stray cat who came inside the backyard and she scratched me. It doesn't hurt or anything" She lied.
"Oh, how did it even get in?" He questioned, "I don't know, cats have their ways. Anyways I'm hungry" she changed the subject as she got up. "See I'm innocent" Walker pointed a finger at Ryan.
