Wrong number? Wrong freaking number?
I scoff as I glare at the screen. Is he messing with me or ignoring me?
Me: Either you're blind to see that I own the face of the woman you're going to marry, or you have selective amnesia and don't remember me.
I hit send then cringe. My comebacks are so lame. But he should be taken aback.
He immediately sees my message but leaves me on seen. Again. Maybe he is busy like me. And isn't getting a chance to reply.
I look up and see Saveer in the male sitting area in front of me. He's using his phone. Yet he left me on seen. Why?He looks up at me for merely a second before he gets a call and he disappears from my sight.
I mentally sigh and stand up. I walk to Amrita Maa and Seher who are giving the final outfits for purchase. Paridhi Aunty joins them and I stretch my legs, relieved to know that they are done.
However, we spend another hour on buying some accessories and other things and when I get too tired, I tell Amrita Maa that I'm going home.
"Tell Saveer to drop you. The rest of us are staying for more shopping."
"Fine. Be quick and come home safe." I kiss her cheek and walk out.
I go to the men's section and see Saveer sitting with his phone in his hand.
Wow, so this whole time he was using his phone but didn't care to reply to my message? I decide to let it go and stroll towards him, ignoring Gaurav Uncle and Samar. I put my hands on my hips and stare.
Saveer seems to be itching his jaw casually but when he sees my shoes, his eyes moves up to see my fake smile.
"Mr Moody, come. Drop me home."
"Excuse me?" His voice comes out husky.
Ugh. Am I already attracted to him? No...
I clear my throat. "Maa said everyone is staying. I'm tired so I'm leaving. She told me that you'll be dropping me."
"I didn't say that. Take a cab." He retorts.
I raise my eyebrows. "Why should I take a cab when my fiancé is here to help me?"
He sighs and gets up. "Dad, we're leaving."
