First of all, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy the book!

One thing I would like to mention: This is a fictional story, although I will be using themes of drug abuse and manipulation that, unfortunately, did happen in Elvis' life. While I did use real names for some main characters, their portrayal in this book is in no way meant to accurately represent them. Other names given to side characters have been invented and any similarities between real life people are purely incidental.

I tried to stay close to the timeline of Elvis' life in 1969, but, obviously, I changed some things for the sake of the story. While this is meant for entertainment, many scenes are inspired by actual historical events.

This story is written in third person. At times I enjoy this perspective as it gives me the ability to have more theatrical scenes. However, sometimes I do find it can be confusing to read. So... thoughts? I'm not set on the viewpoint for future stories, so let me know what you prefer.
