The night was painted in shades of deep blue, the sky heavy with the weight of a thousand unshed tears.
The moon hung low, a solitary witness to the silent world below, a silence that was threatening to break the walls of Poddar Mansion, a silence that felt heavy post a threatening storm.
The walls of Poddar Mansion had been hit by a storm today, a storm named ARMAAN, ABHIRA'S ARMAAN.
The mansion, usually vibrant with life, now seemed unnaturally quiet, the echoes of laughter from Ruhi's bachelorette party from the eveing still lingering in the air.
The guests had been immersed in celebration, their joy filling every corner, unaware of the turmoil brewing outside.
It was Ruhi's special night, her friends and family gathered to mark the beginning of a new chapter in her life.
But then, the front door slammed open, the force of it silencing the music and the chatter instantly.
Armaan stood at the entrance, his tall frame tense, his eyes blazing with a fury that turned every head towards him.
Draped over his arm was Abhira, weak and pale, her once vibrant eyes dull with fear, her body shivering uncontrollably as she clung to him.
She was wrapped in his coat, her small frame barely visible, as if she were trying to disappear into the fabric.
The room fell into a stunned silence, the stark contrast between the joyful celebration and the dire scene at the door sending a chill down everyone's spine.
Sanjay, always the one to break the silence, stepped forward, his eyes narrowing as they fixed on Abhira.
His lips curled into a smirk, and his voice cut through the tension like a knife. "Well, well, look who's here," he drawled, his tone dripping with disdain. "Couldn't keep away from the party, could you, Abhira? Or did you find another one to entertain yourself at?"
His words hung in the air, each syllable laced with venom, the implication clear.
Abhira flinched, her grip on Armaan tightening, her eyes welling up with tears she had been desperately trying to hold back.
Manisha, and Manoj exchanged worried glances, their concern for Abhira palpable. Surprisingly enough even Vidya couldn't fantom what would have transpired.
They knew Sanjay could be harsh, but this was beyond anything they had expected.
Abhira was clearly in distress, and his words only seemed to deepen her pain.
Armaan's eyes flicked towards Sanjay, his expression hardening.
He gently eased Abhira into the arms of Manisha, who took her in with a soft murmur of comfort.
Then, like a predator stalking its prey, Armaan turned his full attention to Sanjay. The room seemed to shrink around them as the tension thickened, the other guests watching with bated breath.
"What did you say?" Armaan's voice was low, dangerously calm, but there was an undercurrent of rage that made the hairs on the back of everyone's neck stand up. He took a step forward, his eyes never leaving Sanjay's.
Sanjay, who had always prided himself on his bravado, suddenly felt a knot of fear tighten in his stomach. He tried to stand his ground, but the intensity in Armaan's gaze was too much to bear. He faltered, taking a step back.
"I said, she's-" Sanjay began, but Armaan cut him off, his voice rising with each word, "Don't you dare finish that sentence, Fufa Sa."
Armaan's hands balled into fists at his sides, the barely restrained fury evident in every taut muscle of his body. "You think you're so clever, don't you? Sending Abhira to my bachelor's party as some sick joke. Do you have any idea what she's been through tonight?"
