I sat at the bar, sipping my drink as I watched my friends let loose on the dance floor. The music pulsed through the room, and I could feel the bass vibrating in my chest. Sam, with her wild energy and infectious smile, was in the center of it all, her laughter rising above the beat. She caught sight of me sitting alone and made her way over, her steps a little unsteady but full of enthusiasm.

"Why are you sitting here all by yourself?" Sam asked, her voice slightly slurred but still full of warmth. She leaned on the bar, her cheeks flushed from the alcohol and dancing. "You should be out there with us!"

I smiled at her. "Just taking a breather, that's all. You guys look like you're having fun."

Sam grinned mischievously and grabbed my hand. "We're having a blast, but it'd be even better if you joined us! How about we take a few shots together first? Liquid courage, you know?"

I laughed, not needing much convincing. "Alright, let's do it."

We ordered a round of shots, clinking our glasses together before downing the fiery liquid. The warmth spread through my chest, and the world seemed to glow a little brighter. Sam's eyes sparkled with excitement as she set down her glass and pulled me toward the dance floor.

"Come on!" she urged, her laughter contagious. "Let's show them how it's done!"

As we started dancing, the music wrapped around us like a living thing, guiding our movements. The beat was infectious, and soon we were lost in it, our bodies swaying and moving together. Sam's hands found my waist, and we danced closer, our movements synchronized, fluid. There was a playful edge to it, a flirtation that made me grin as we made eye contact, her gaze full of mischief.

We spun together, the world narrowing down to the rhythm of the music and the heat of the moment. I felt eyes on us and glanced up, my gaze locking with Rian's across the room. He stood at the edge of the dance floor, watching us intently. His expression was unreadable, but there was a tension in his posture, a stillness that contrasted sharply with the wild energy of the room.

Sam noticed too and leaned in close, her lips brushing against my ear as she whispered, "Looks like someone's jealous."

I couldn't help but smirk, my heart racing as we continued to dance, deliberately making our movements more suggestive. I knew Rian was watching, and a thrill ran through me at the thought of it. Sam's hands roamed my sides, her touch light and teasing as we moved together, a silent challenge in our eyes as we glanced at Rian.

The air between us crackled with tension, the charged atmosphere making everything feel more intense. Rian's gaze never wavered, his eyes dark and intense as he took in the sight of us. I couldn't tell what he was thinking, but the way he watched us made my skin tingle.

I smirked, glancing back at Rian, feeling a rush of excitement. The playful challenge in Sam's eyes made me press closer, our bodies moving together in a way that was almost teasing. Rian's gaze didn't waver, his expression unreadable, but the tension in his posture was unmistakable.

Before I could think too much about it, someone else moved into my line of sight. A tall, dark-haired man with striking features and a confident smile stepped between us, cutting in smoothly. His hands found my waist as he began to dance with me, his touch immediately more intimate than Sam's had been. The alcohol buzzed in my veins, dulling any sense of caution as I met his gaze.

He was handsome, with a sharp jawline and eyes that gleamed under the club lights. There was an air of danger about him, something that made my heart race faster. His hands roamed my sides, sliding over the curve of my hips and up my back as we danced. The closeness of his body against mine, the way his touch lingered, sent a shiver down my spine.
