chapter 5

(Jungkook stirred in his sleep as rays of sunshine peaked through the open curtains hitting his face making him groan in annoyance. He changed his side and pulled the comforter over himself wanting to get some more sleep but something clicked in his mind making him sit straight on the bed with his eyes wide open in shock.

"What the fuck" (Jungkook cursed as he looked around wanting to see the project he was working on last night) "where's the project? Did I fall asleep while completing it? No fucking way!!! No no no no no!!

(Jungkook got off the bed hurriedly) "I am doomed." (With rushing steps Jungkook made his way downstairs and went straight into the kitchen where taehyung was making breakfast. Jungkook took a deep breath and slowly wrapped his arms around taehyung- back hugging him)

"Tae" (Jungkook called out with fear evident in his voice. Taehyung hummed while cooking something) "p-project! Where's the project I was completing last night?"

(Taehyung spinned around and glared at Jungkook who gulped not knowing what to do)

"You had fallen asleep while completing it" (taehyung replied with a hint of disappointment in his tone. Jungkook bit on his lips) "go and get ready for university you'll be late otherwise"

"C-can I skip today?"

"No" (taehyung replied with a little smirk on his lips which was completely unnoticed by Jungkook)

"Tae, please? The professor's so strict he's going to punish me for not completing the project" (Jungkook said but then received angry glares from taehyung)

"You should have thought about it before falling asleep without completing it. Now, I don't want to listen to anything, go and get ready."

"Taehyung, professor will complain to suga hyung. Please let me skip university today??"

"I don't care. Go and get ready if you don't want me to call suga hyung and tell him everything myself" (Jungkook glared at taehyung and then slowly made his way upstairs but stopped when taehyung spoke again) "Jungkook, I left my phone in the dining room can you go and bring it to me?"

(Jungkook hummed making his way towards the living room. He was visibly scared of going to university but he knew he couldn't skip it. He mentally prepared himself for getting punished from the professor and get tons of scoldings from his elder brother)

"Yoongi hyung's gonna be so angry, god. Why, why did I even forget to complete it on time? I am sure hyung's gonna snatch my phone and won't give it back for a few days, Even tho my poor little phone has nothing to do with me not completing my work. I hope yoongi hyung skips university today and-

(Jungkook's chain of thoughts broke as he spotted something on the table, in the living room. He ran closer to it and his eyes widened with surprise seeing the project he was working on kept there and..and it was complete? A happy and grateful smile curved up on his lips as he ran towards the kitchen and jumped back hugging taehyung)

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you so much taehyung. I love you so much, you are the best and I really lov-"

"Woah woah..young man, calm down" (taehyung said chuckling as he turned around and wrapped his arms around jungkook's waist as Jungkook nuzzled his nose in the crook of taehyung's neck)

"You did my project, right? Thank you so much, tae. Really thank you so much. I was so scared of facing suga hyung"  (taehyung placed a kiss on jungkook's head)

"Yes, I did it. But this is the last time I did your work. Mark my words, If next time something like this happens I won't do your work and I will let you get punished by your professors....and I mean it" (taehyung held jungkook's shoulders softly with both of his hands) "I really want you to stop focusing on useless things and focus more on your studies, kook. I won't do your work, again. you have to be responsible right?"
