1. The Bite

The next day
September 17th, 2016

Ryker woke up with his body in immense pain. The younger Parker groaned in pain when he heard his brother wake up. "Ryker. Come on it's time for school." Peter said as he was in somewhat pain. All the teen was groan again before he put his hand over his face. "I can't go.." Ryker huffed out as he tried to make the pain go away.

Peter stared at him before they both heard May come walking into the room. "Come on boys we know the drill." She spoke out before she looked over at Ryker who looked very pale. "Little May? You doing okay there bud?" The twins aunt asked. "No.. I feel so gross.." Ryker said before he closed his eyes tighter. Peter and May looked at each other before looking at the boy in bed still. The woman soon walked over and stood on a stool to reach to feel Rykers forehead. "HOLY- yeah you're not going to school!" She stated as she then looked over at Peter. The aunt soon placed a hand on his forehead and sighed. "Well you're okay. Now you can either stay or go to school. But I have to get going. Lil May do you think you can stay home alone?" The woman asked. "Y-yeah. I'll be fine. G-go to work.." Ryker responded slurring his words together.

The woman sighed before looking at the older Parker twin. "You come straight home after school. Text me how he's feeling when you're back." May responded. "Okay May. I will." Peter said with a smile. "Good. Okay boys. I larb you both. I hope you feel better Ryker." May said before she soon left the apartment leaving the twins alone.

Peter smiled sadly at his brother before packing his school bag. "I'll be back Ryker." Peter said before shutting off the light in the room. When he watched as Ryker now relax and fully drift asleep, he soon knew he would be fine. So the older twin simply left for school leaving the younger twin at home alone not knowing the changes he will also deal with that day.

2 hours later
8:15 am

Ryker woke up with a jolt, the teen quickly stumbled off the top bunk and swiftly ran to the bathroom. As the 14 year old started to throw up, the teen grimaced as he leaned against the toilet. He hated being sick, it's usually rarely for him or for Peter to get sick. But when he gets sick it's bad, but whatever this was it was not good like the sickness he usually gets. Whatever this was, it's different.

As Ryker finally got up from the toilet and flushed it, he felt different and he couldn't figure out why. As he was now washing his hands he began to look down at his hands. As he was scrubbing his hands he couldn't help but notice his wrists. "What the heck?..." he asked himself as he soon touched his right wrist at a weird scar? Right as he touched it something blasted out of it making him scream like a little girl. "WHAT THE CHEESE?! OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD!" Ryker yelled out as he seen the mirror now get covered with webs.

Rykers eyes were now bulging out of his skull looking at his wrist then at the mirror. "Ryker it's all a dream. It's all a dream." He spoke to himself as he soon wiped away the webs and threw them in the trash. The teen soon looked back at his scars on his wrists. He soon touched his left wrist, and before he knew it webs came out again making Ryker jump. "This can't be happening to me!" Ryker spoke out before he wiped away the webs again. He soon ran his hands through his hair before they both got stuck. "Ow. What the heck! GET OFF! STOP STICKING!!" The teen yelled out before he yanked his hands out of his hair and seen some strands on his hands.

"Okay now this is freaking me out..." he spoke to himself before he looked at himself in the mirror. Ryker soon remembered the spider bite on his neck. The Parker quickly took his shirt off and turned to look at himself in the mirror. All he could see was a small red bump that seemed like a mosquito bite. Ryker couldn't help but touch the bump before feeling a zap shoot down his spine. "AH! WHAT?!" Ryker soon looked at his hand before looking at the mirror again. As he looked at himself he soon realized he wasn't wearing his glasses. Ryker was shocked he forgot about them, but he did remember he did just throw up and jump out of bed. But he could usually never see. Ryker just smiled a bit before he sighed, he then examined the spider bite again.
