"Rej, Where are you going?" My mother stormed towards me.

"I-I'm going to schoo-" Huh? What happened? It stings. I raised my hand towards my check, 'Again... My face is sore already'

"Go change and do your chores!" My mom then suddenly threw my bag and slammed me down on the floor. Without a second thought; I got up, grabbed my bag, and ran back to my room, crying.
