04. eye contact

Jungkook's pov

My heart is beating like crazy in my chest.

Me and Jimin are standing at the queue of the canteen, waiting to buy food.

It's not helping me a bit because he's standing right infront of me with his back facing me. His scent is forcing itself in my nose and I'm just blessed to be this close to him.

I can see his cheeks being a little chubby and his eyes curiously looking forward. His blonde hair moving a bit, so he tucked it behind his ear with his fingers.

I bit on my lips as how cute he was being. I just want to stare in his eyes and caress his cheeks. Now that I'm getting a bit comfortable, I'm sure I'd be able to do that one day.

"Boy I, boy i, boy I know, I know you got the feels~"

Just then somebody singing some song collided with my back, making me jerk forward and bump my chest on Jimin's back.

I quickly regained myself, making a distance between me and Jimin in case he felt uncomfortable.

Jimin looked back at me with his big doe eyes and oh god I'm dying with happiness. His cheeks were painted with slight hue as he again tucked his hair behind his ear.

Damn it, stop making me fall again and again for you.

"U-uh I'm sorry... J-Jimin, I think you should go and find a table while I get our lunch. What do you say?" I suggest, my nervous system invoking.

"Y-Yeah." He vigorously nod his head while licking his lips, avoiding my eyes.

Yes, I'm doing it!

I'm being confident but...he's not feeling uncomfortable, right?

What if he's feeling uncomfortable. Because at the end of the day, I'm an alpha and he wouldn't like unwanted physical contact.

"I'll bring your lunch. What do you want?" I smile at him, trying my hard not to make him uncomfortable.

I saw his eyes glistening with pupils. "Just a cheese sandwich would do, I'm not that hungry."

I quickly nod my head before repeating; "A cheese sandwich. Want anything else?"

He shook his head with a small smile but then bite on his lip anxiously. " About the money-"

I quickly interrupted him. "It's not a big deal, it's just a sandwich. I'll treat you."

"Thank you." I could say he blushed because his cheeks turned a bit pinkish. He looks so cute whenever he's blushing.

I only nod my head before he left to find a table for us.

I placed my hand on my chest and felt my heartbeat pounding against my ribcage.

Damn.

Anyways, i should buy something else for him, too.

I placed two cheese sandwiches on the table with a choco milkshake bottle that I brought for Jimin.

He looked at the milkshake bottle with his curious filled eyes.

"For you." I quitely told him with a smile and pushed the bottle further towards him.

"Why, thank you!" He giggled. "You really didn't have to buy this extra bottle for me."

"I wanted to."

He bit on his bottom lip and tucked his hair behind his ear, it's the third time now. I'm actually enjoying him blushing because of me alot.

I wonder if he blushes like this whenever he's with Taehyung? However, I've only seen him talking with Taehyung normally.

Atleast, I'm glad I'm making a omega tuck his hair behind his ear instead of making them uncomfortable that they squirm in discomfort.

"You bought sandwich for yourself too?" Jimin's question took me out of my thoughts.

"Yeah I wanted to have cheese sandwich too." I quickly informed him but noticed how he wasn't able to open the cap of the bottle.

Even after few seconds, I saw him having difficulty with it.

"Let me open it for you." I signalled my hand towards him and he pouted, god, my heart.

He then gave me the bottle and i began to open the cap for him. I hurriedly opened it, not wanting him to wait and it resulted the cap to slip from my hand and fall on the ground.

"I'll take that-"

"Not let me-"

Me and Jimin, at the same time bent down to take the bottle cap from the ground.

It was his hand that covered the bottle cap and my fingers brushed against his.

We both froze.

Looking up at eachother in the eye and my knees are suddenly giving up. Thank god, I'm sitting on a chair otherwise i would've fell on my knees for him.

Our eyes locked, and as if the whole world stopped moving. Just us communicating with our eyes.

His eyes are so beautiful, holding every star's of the universe. And all I see is him right now. 

His eyes fluttered, which made me back away from him and sit on the chair properly.

I quickly passed him the chocolate milkshake and he take it from my hand.

His eyes spoke so many emotions at once.

That was the eye contact I've always wanted with Jimin.
