Jungkook sprinted to the park, his heart racing with anticipation.
He couldn't bear the thought of facing Jimin after all of this mess but he knew he needed to see Jimin, to confess and to apologise.
As he arrived, he saw the omega sitting on a bench, head down, staring at the ground.
Jungkook approached the omega and when Jimin sensed a presence around him, he immediately stood up and turned to Jungkook.
"You came.." Jimin trailed off.
"Yeah, you called." Jungkook took a deep breath. "Jimin.. I.. I can explain about the letter."
"Explain what?" Jimin chuckled sadly. "That you wrote a love letter for Taehyung to give it to me?"
"Jimin.. it's not like that-" Jungkook tried to explain but Jimin interrupted.
"Then explain." Jimin's voice was laced with sadness.
"I knew Taehyung liked you but at the same time, i did too. I didn't wanted to break our friendship.. and I was just trying to help him.. I was afraid of loosing the only friend I had. I was okay with loving you from a far."
Jimin stepped closer to Jungkook. "How long have you loved me?" He asked seriously.
"One.. year." Jungkook's gaze turned away.
Jimin sighed, his hands clutching onto the hoodie Jungkook was wearing. "I.. why didn't you tell me? You helped him but at what cost? Pouring your heart down to write the feelings Taehyung didn't even feel for me?"
"I'm sorry Jimin." Jungkook quickly wrapped his arms around Jimin's shoulders. "I was afraid. I was so scared of ruining our friendship."
"I understand that but... what about you? What would you have done if I liked him back?" Jimin asked, lifting his gaze to meet Jungkook's love-filled eyes.
"You know what, Jimin? I wouldn't do anything if you loved him because love is selfless."
"And what would you do if I say I love you?" The three words at the end of the sentance kept playing in Jungkook's mind like a broken record.
"Then... I would never let you go and keep you in my arms. Like this." Jungkook chuckled. Jimin giggled and snuggled closer to the alpha's safe arms.
Jungkook's heartbeat pound in his ribcage as Jimin wrapped his arms around the alpha's waist.
"I'm sorry.. I'm at fault, too. I should've been more courageous." Jimin suddenly spoke, his voice muffled due to his face being pressed on Jungkook's chest.
"No, it's my fault for not telling you. I had so many chances but I choose to keep it to myself." Jungkook sighed.
"It's alright. Everything is okay, right?" Jimin ask as he pulled away a little.
"Yeah." Jungkook smiled, his gaze softening as he tucked some of Jimin's hair behind his ear.
Jimin smiled shyly as Jungkook chuckled. "I've always wanted to do that."
"Do what?"
"You know, tuck your hair behind your ear. It's adorable." Jimin just smiled at that.
The tension suddenly felt thick as they looked into eachother's eyes.
Jungkook reached out his hand and ran his thumb over Jimin's soft cheekbones. Their eyes continued to glue at eachother, face moving a little closer.
As they got closer, they could feel eachother's breath finally being one.
"May I.. kiss you?" Jungkook softly asked, his eyes staring at Jimin's mesmerizing orbs that behold every star of universe.
Jimin only nod his head briefly before closing his eyes. Jungkook, feeling a inner terminal wash over him, leaned in and claimed Jimin's lips softly.
Jimin's lips were soft like feather making Jungkook close his eyes abruptly and move his lips.
The alpha wrapped his arm around Jimin's petite waist and pulled the omega closer as he maintained the kiss better, now moving their lips in a soft motion.
Their heart beat in synchron, their lips speaking their heart's emotions.
The kiss was rather filled with love, passion and longing to be in eachother's arms.
They pulled away, slightly out of breath.
Jimin lifted his loving gaze, his cheeks tainted in a beautiful pinkish colour.
Jungkook stared down at Jimin's eyes, his own eyes filling up with tears.
He finally did it.
"I love you. Will you be my omega?" Jungkook asked, letting his thumb roam on Jimin's cheek.
Jimin's eyes soon filled with tears, too. "I love you, too. My alpha. Ofcourse I'll be your omega."
Jungkook pressed his forehead softly onto Jimin's.
In the moment, they were one, their love shining brightly, heart filled with happiness now that they were together.
They smiled, their hearts full, love finally free to flourish.
