Phoenix opened the door to find Han standing outside, his eyes fixed intently on hers. He looked anxious, his brow furrowed and his hands tucked into his pockets.
Han: (apologetically) "Hey, Phoenix. I just wanted to come by and thank you for helping me out at the party. All that made me anxious and I don't know what I would have done if you guys weren't there."
Phoenix: (smiling) "It's okay, Han. We're friends. We stick together and I'll always be there when you need me coz that's what friends do."
Han: (whispering) "Just friends, right?" (shaking his head) "Yes, friends. That's what we are. Come on, Han, be real." (laughs)
Phoenix: "Did you say something?"
Han: (regretfully) "Nothing ,I'm so sorry about your dress. I feel terrible that it got ripped."
Phoenix: (dismissively) "It's just a dress, Han. It's not a big deal."
Han: (determined) "No, it's a big deal. And I promise I'll get you an even better one. Maybe one that's even more beautiful than the one that got ruined."
Phoenix: (laughing) "Han, you don't have to do that."
Han: (smiling) "I want to. Consider it a small thank you for everything you've done for me."
(Han smiles and turns to leave, but then turns back)
Han: (smiling slyly) "And maybe I'll even get you a dress that's Stray Kids-themed. Would you like that?"
Phoenix: (laughing) "Han, you're something else."
Han's hands began to fidget, his fingers drumming against his thighs. Phoenix noticed the subtle movement and her eyes narrowed slightly, concern etched on her face.
Phoenix: (curiously) "Han, what's wrong? You look like you want to say something."
Han: (hesitantly) "Nothing, I just...I don't know, I just wanted to sit with you, I guess."
Phoenix: (smiling) "That's sweet, Han. But you can tell me if something's bothering you. I'm here for you."
Han: (shaking his head) "No, it's nothing like that. I just...this city is so beautiful, and you're here, and...I don't know, it just feels nice to be near you, I guess."
Phoenix: (touched) "Aww, Han. That's really sweet. Well, if you want to sit with me, let's go out to the balcony. We can swing and enjoy the view together."
Han: (smiling) "Really? You'd want to do that with me?"
Phoenix: (smiling back) "Of course, Han. I'd love to."
(We head out to the balcony, and I sit down on the swing, patting the seat next to me for Han to join me)
