In the Principal's Office.

The room was dark, only the blinds giving any source of light and it was barely enough. The room was all black with red seats, a red carpet with a roaring lion symbol on it. There was also a picture of Principal Baldwin and Crimson hanging above the Principal's Seat, both shaking hands and hugging.

"Keyan Ingram

"Keyan Ingram. Such a pleasure to see you this morning. Sit, I'd like to discuss a few.. mishaps." Keyan sat down , sitting his bag on the ground , slipping out a sigh. "So wassup, Mr. B? You're gonna expel me for what happened Friday?"

Keyan wasn't in the mood for anything. Truth be told he didn't like school much but he always kept going, for Momma Lana and for his Father, Keenon.

"No son. In fact-"

"Don't call me son, please."

"Ok, boy." Keyan tilted his head as Mr. B said the word, as if he was downplaying him. The overweight head of Casket high, just gave a big smile.

"I wanted to send you my apologies about Herbie. His parents being rich doesn't excuse what he's been doing. And I'm sorry about your friend Matthew Collins, as well. I hear he's in good spirits though." What he's been doing? What do you know, big boy.? Keyan thought himself, his attention now fully on his Principal.

Mr. B leaned forward, tilting his head and narrowing his eyes.

"I also heard about your uh, Awakening. Congratulations on becoming a full blooded Xeno."

"Thanks. And Manny's just fine, he'll be back soon."

Mr.B stood up from his chair and rubbed on his tie, nodding.

"I know you kids like to have your little parties and all that. Believe it or not I used to be a bit of a party animal myself." Mr. B started doing a small dance shuffling his feet together, moving around bumping the floor. Keyan's eyes open shot, staring and put his hand under his chin, holding his head. The principal cleared his throat.

"I just, I want to make sure you're ok. Sometimes, things get out of hand. Incidents happen and-"

Keyan stood up, hands on the desk.

"Incident? Incident?"

Keyan's eyes began glowing orange. He closed them and looked away quickly, hoping Mr. B didn't notice. Sadly he did, the principal rubbing under his desk, finger resting on a red button.  Keyan was ready to rip out the man's throat, he was feeling warmer, hotter actually. But he knew it was getting cold around him, he could see frost appearing on the window beside him. He had to calm down.

"My best friend was almost burned alive, and I too had it not been for my powers activating! That psycho Herbie is, well, a psycho!"

Mr. B looked up at Keyan and stood up.
