"It feels like nothing happened after they released me—a complete blank slate," Y/N told the doctor, while Tory enveloped his hand.

"So, there isn't much we can do. We would, however, suggest you seek therapy." The doctor told him before standing up. He gave a small smile and walked out.

"Well, it could be worse. At least you aren't seriously hurt." Tory told him. She slowly massaged the back of his hand.

"Yeah, I guess." Y/N leans his head against her shoulder. "So, why did the fight start again?"

"As I said, Sam tried to kiss you." Tory told him that Y/N seemed to accept that nodding into her shoulder.

"Now what?" Y/N asked.

"Well, Heal up, Get better. That's all you can do." She leant a kiss on his head before getting up. "I have to go to work."

Y/N let out a nod as he watched her leave with a frown on his face.

Y/N slowly stood up, using the handrail to hold himself. He held himself like that for a few moments before slowly taking a few steps. He used the walls to help him navigate. His legs wobbled beneath him. It took him a while to find his footing. He searched inside each room, looking for someone in particular.

Eventually, He reached the room he had been looking for. Inside, Miguel lay on his bed, unconscious, with a large brace around his neck. Y/N looked down at him, watching how still he was. Y/N took a seat next to his bed.

"Why? Why show him mercy? Tory told him how you let him go. Why?" Y/N asked quietly. It was almost as if he expected a reply.

"Sorry, Sorry." Y/N whispered quietly. Outside Miguel's room, two kids walked by, laughing with each other while one held a basketball.

"Dude, I... This karate thing, man... It's so... scary. You've been there since the beginning, you know. We were the good guys, right?" Y/N asked, looking down at Miguel from his seat. His eyes seemed tearful.

"We were." A voice came from the doorway as Y/N looked up to see Johnny. Y/N stood up instantly.

"I-I was just..." Y/N quickly stuttered, but Johnny cut him off.

"Don't worry, kid, I'm not meant to be here anymore than you are," Johnny told him before moving aside to let Y/N through.

Tory cut a sandwich before handing it to her brother. "Take that to mom."

After watching her brother for a moment, she picked up a trash bag and walked outside. Once she stepped outside, she spotted her landlord, Rodney, working on something. She walked up to him.

"Hey. You haven't fixed the leak yet," she told him.

"And you haven't paid rent. See how that works?" He replied quickly. He continued working.

"I'll have it to you by next week. I'm already working doubles," she explained.

"Last month, it was some excuse about your mom's diabetes," he started. Tory corrected him, but he continued, "Same difference. It's not my job to keep track of your excuses. It's my job to cash rent checks. If I can't do my job, then you can't live here."

"Don't do that. You know, my mom, she's--" Tory began but was cut short.

"That caretaker thing is the only reason you're not in jail. Yeah, I heard about that cat fight that got you expelled." Rodney revealed.

"You don't know anything about that." Tory hastily responded.

"I know if I had some mud and an inflatable pool, I could've sold tickets. That mechanic boy you two fought over woulda sat front and center." He joked.
