Chapter 22 - Messages

Y/N had just gotten his breakfast delivered. He sat up on his bed and slowly began eating, watching the people walk past as he did. After around 5 minutes of eating, he heard a voice. 

"Y/N..." Y/N looked up to see Sam holding a small hamper. 

"What do you want?" Y/N asked. 

"I just came to give you this. We gave one to Miguel as well." She placed it at the side of his bed. 

"Well- Thanks." Y/N replied, He couldn't be bothered starting another argument. Sam turned to leave. As she reached the door, she turned to look at him once more. 

"I am sorry for what happened." With that, she left. 

"Well, Mr. L/N, with that, you are free to leave." The doctor told him that Y/N and Tory held each other. 

"First, can I say one last goodbye?" He asked, and the doctor nodded. As Y/N and Tory soomed up, Tory went to follow him. 

"Alone, it's Miguel. I know you still feel it was your fault, so stay here." Y/N suggested, to which Tory nodded. Y/N slowly made his way towards Miguel's room. The hospital seemed quiet due to it being late. 

"You want something? You'll have to crawl across the floor to get it. It's only me and you now; Y/N chose his side a long time ago." Johnny told Miguel, and Y/N listened. For a brief moment, He had wanted to trust Johnny again. However, now Y/N felt like he had been punched square in the face. He slowly walked back to his room. 

Y/N spent the next day in the guy. He began by slowly walking over long periods. Next, he proceeded to jump; slowly, over many days, he managed to jump onto boxes. However, his memory was still unchanged. He tried listening to Tory's retelling of the story, but it didn't help.

He was currently sitting in his car with Tory. They'd just finished making out. Tory was leaning against Y/N's shoulder. 

"Well, How are you feeling?" Tory asked, her thumb rubbing his palm. 

"Better, I'm going back to work tomorrow. I've heard Cole has a surprise for me; I'm thinking I'll be back at the dojo soon." He told her happily. 

"Well, don't rush yourself." She replied, She had a sudden buzz on both of their phones. 

CK GC: Meet at the old laser tag joint. Got beers. 

Plus, Miyagi-Do's are next door if we want to cause a little chaos.

Y/N and Tory locked eyes and smiled before Y/N started the car. It took around 5 minutes to get there, but when they did, they saw the lights were off. They rushed inside, spotting Samantha's bag in the hallway. 

"Sam Larusso!" Tory called out, "Where are you, bitch?" 

The room fell quiet as Y/N walked alongside Tory. Quickly, the Cobra Kai managed to take control as they ganged up on them. Y/N never threw any punches. He watched as Hawk quickly took down Demetri and applied an arm bar. 

"No! Please, stop! Eli, stop! Stop!" Demetri pleaded Y/N watched as more and more pressure was applied to Demetri's arm. 

"Wait." Y/N said; Hawk didn't hear, but Tory turned to look at Y/N. His expression was one of fear but also of sorrow. 

"What's up, Y/N?" Tory asked, but Y/N shook it off as nothing. When a loud crack was heard. Demetri screamed out in pain and writhed on the floor. They all proceeded to slowly leave. 

Y/N and Tory sat in Y/N's car. Y/N hadn't spoken much, just looking down at his hands. They were shaking slightly. 

"Y/N?" Tory spoke in a questioning tone. 

"I-I'm okay..." Y/N replied quietly.

"I don't think you are, Y/N. What happened back there? You looked scared." She told him, He looked down. 

"I... I don't know... Do you remember when I went to Miguel's room?" Y/N questioned, and Tory nodded. "Johnny, he told Miguel that I chose a different path. My mentor, the guy who trained me, turned his back on me." 

Tory smiled slightly and just let out a laugh. Y/N turned to look at her and had a concered look. 

"That doesn't matter anymore, We both have a new mentor." She told him before moving herself to straddle him, "Now where were we?"
