"Poetess huh... that was their new artist?" a voice behind me said.

I froze because of the familiarity and slowly turned around to face them.

The people who had given me the stage that brought me here - Contra Band.

It was Young Jae who had spoken. I gulped and just looked at him. "For someone who was so afraid of the stage, you sure made sure you were the only one on it." he spat.

I didn't say anything. Couldn't. There was nothing I could say to make them believe me. To make them understand what kind of place I was in and why I did what I did. I made sure you debuted without a singer, something that could ruin your career, to save your career. It sounded ridiculous even to me. So I just stayed quiet, looking at them as they all glared at me. Their eyes shining with the hurt of my betrayal.

We may have been together for a very short time, but nonetheless we had gotten quite close. So I could understand how hurt they would be. And had every right to be. But I could no longer take their looks of hatred and accusation anymore.

"I was a trainee at VYBE way before I met you guys on the road." I said quietly. They all looked shocked at that.

"They weren't ready to debut me as a band member. If you had chosen VYBE... you wouldn't have even debuted." I said.

"That's the biggest pile of steaming bullshit I have ever heard." Hee In said.

"Trust me." I said as I caught sight of Guardians coming my way. I couldn't stand here much longer. "If I could turn back time, I would have walked right past you guys on the pavement so you could have found a way better trained singer and made it big." I said in a rush and walked away as Jisung caught my eyes.

I didn't wait for them to react as I hurried through the corridor, slipping into one of the green rooms. It was reserved for some other band who would be performing for the award show.

Yep. I was rehearsing for an upcoming award show.

Where I was nominated.

For best debut of the season.

Now that was a steaming pile of bullshit. But I guessed the Director had pulled some strings so he could have the pride of ruining one of the nominees of a prestigious award. I sighed and turned back to meet four shocked faces.

Fuck. These faces were really famous faces here and in the world.

I gulped as I stared at Crystal, Lala, Marianne and Smile of one of the biggest girl bands in Chweguk - Pink Savage.

"Uhh... Poetess-i guna?" (You're Poetess right?) Smile, real name Park Mi Soo, asked. I just blinked.

"Yaa, hangugeun mollaa jana..." (Yaa, she doesn't know Han) Marianne, real name Kim Marianne, said to Mi Soo.

"You're in the wrong room babe." Lala said, cocking her head. Real name Lalana Kasem, she was the youngest in the group and the only non-Han person in the group. She was from Prathet Thai.

"Sorry." I said, quickly bowing and hurried out of the room.

*******

"Is that her way of saying she wishes she never met us?" Mi Ok asked, as she saw Shayne disappear round the corner.
