At Sora's house, it was 5:40 PM.
"I'm home!"
"Hi son, good evening."
"Good evening, Mom."
Is it already 6 PM?
"How was the 'exclusive social event'?" - She said, moving her index and middle fingers of both hands.
"It was good," he replied quietly.
"That's great!" [chuckles] - This made Sora blush and want to hurry to his room. - "Oh, and SORA!..."
"Yes?"
"Try to come home earlier next time you go out, okay? I saw on the news that many people have been disappearing lately without a trace!"
"Alright."
Sora went to his room and only came out for dinner. But still in his room:
Today was great! The café, the ice cream... And Luciana! She's so cute. I don't know how I didn't stutter; maybe because she's also shy. The barista helped too, breaking the awkward silences. I wonder if we're friends now? I think I'm overthinking this...
Tomorrow is Miguel's birthday. He's going to be a huge annoyance, I can already imagine. But it's his day, so my patience will be at its maximum, for him... I hope he likes the gift. I saved money to buy the soccer shoes he's been wanting. If not, oh well, the thought counts.

Sunday, 11:44 a.m.
"Mom, I'm heading out to meet Miguel and Ana."
"Alright, have a good time, and wish him a Happy Birthday from me."
"Okay..."
"Wait!" - His mom shouted.
"Yes?"
"You're taking your backpack, right?" - She made an annoyed expression.
"Yeah, what's the problem? Is it dirty or something?"
