chapter 1: meet Poland and Lithuania

"come on Lithuania!" Poland huffed as they chased after a rabbit, their feet being cautious of the sticks and roots lurking in the carpets of the forest. Lithuania runs past Poland and leaps on his prey. The rabbit.

As his fingers dig into the creature, the rabbit cries and tries to slip away. Lithuania caged it with his body as he waited for Poland to arrive.

"You're like a wolf Brat," Poland huffed as she caught her breath. "But at least we got lunch."

Lithuania stood up, his nails still trapped the rabbit in his grip like a bear in a bear trap. "This one is substantial! We are having a feast tonight!"

"And a shower, look at you all covered in mud. Don't blame me if papas guards mistaken you as a peasant." Poland giggled while wrapping herself in her cloak tighter.

They arrived back in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth's palace. The palace stood tall, its Its white polished walls brighten through the leaves on the trees. The guards looked confused at first when their eyes connected to two kids, one holding a struggling rabbit and drenched in mud and the other standing proudly next to the mess, but their appearance soon pictured the deep similarity of their father. The guards stood to the side and opened the grand wooden door to the comfort and warmth of the inside.

"Papa! We got a rabbit! A big one!" Lithuania's voice boomed through the whole palace, nearby maids gasped in shock at the unexpected introduction. The kid's father smirked as he walked down the grand staircase. His fingers tracing the barrier. "A rabbit?" Oh wow well done my children.

Polish-lithuanian commonwealth got more distant from them. Poland panicked a bit and chased after their father as much as possible. But Lithuania went with her grandfather, grand duchy of Lithuania (LDK). From then on LDK was more of a father than polish-lithuanian commonwealth to Lithuania. The love was unmatched and their memories was bigger than those Lithuania has with her actual father.
