A day has passed, and I wake up on the sofa in Naoto's place. Ever since he saw me somewhat 'freak out' the other day, he's refused to let me go home by myself. He says it's for my safety...but I don't know...

A cup of coffee was placed on the table in front of me as I sit up. "Good morning." I yawn, stretching.

"Morning, Takemichi will be here in the evening... Would you like some breakfast. I'm somewhat of a cook."

I take my coffee mug with a small smile. "No thank you, Naoto, I'm ok. But appreciate the offer."

"..." Naoto stood there and eyed the three stacks of papers that sat on the table before me.

To be on their good side, I went back to work and sent pictures to them. I still have to mail these out later though. I just...didn't want to drag my friends into this mess of mine. It's mine and mine alone.

"Naoto."

"?"

"Thanks...for letting me stay here..."

"...It's no problem. Stay as long as you like."

"...I'll be out of your hair soon enough...but thanks."

He picks up one of the pages and studies it a bit. "Do you mind if I ask what you're working on...since it's in another language."

"...I can't, sorry."

"...Alright then." He places the paper back down.

In order to keep my activates somewhat private, I switched to another language so it's unreadable... Unless he knows the language. But I know he doesn't. I don't even tell him what language it is.

"I should get the place ready for us so we three can continue our mission." Naoto walks away leaving me be.

I stare at my phone on the table. It hasn't gone off since I've shown proof that I'm still working, despite not being there with them. I disappeared for two weeks, and they didn't even bat an eye. As long as I keep pushing out my work...they could truly care less about me.

"...Je les déteste."

~~~~Time Skip~~~~
With Takemichi's arrival, we get back to work.
"Hey, Naoto." Takemichi speaks up. "How about we just tell the past Hina that we're from the future- Ow!"
I had pinched his ear, causing him to wince in pain. "How dumb are you? That's a totally bad idea. Don't you ever watch movies? Telling the person is always the wrong move."
"Agreed." Naoto responds. "What would you do if my sister just thought you're a weird person and started to hate you? She'd never believe a story like that. I only believed you by chance because I was crazy about the occult at the time. There's no way a normal person would believe such a thing." Naoto faces us and sighs as he thinks out loud. "Sendo is dead and we can't meet up with Sano. In the end, the only thing you can do to save my sister is go back to the past and do something about Toman."
"Starting all over again, huh? ...Man, if only Draken were alive."
"?"
"He was Toman's number two a long time ago. I think he's the person that understood Mikey better than anyone. If Draken was still alive, I don't think Toman would have turned into such a horrible organization."
"For a big guy...he seemed like a good dude." I think out loud. "I agree with ya, Takemitchy."
"Are you going to keep calling me that?"
