Chapter 6

His pov.

   I walk onto the field. My friends surround me and hugging me. "Ay! Your back?"

   I nod and hug them back. Others giving me a handshake.

  "I'm the team captain remember? We need to be prepared for the game this Friday. Had to pull some strings with the principal."

   They all nod and shake they're heads in agreement. "Were going to kick Hampton Highs ass!"

   I give my friend Diego a stern look. Looking around making sure our coach Jake didn't hear.

"Dont say the word ass around here. You know how coach is when it comes to language." I say in a whisper next to him. He sighs and nods quickly. I pat his back and walk away. Walking further into the field to do stretches and drills.

"So hows that chick your working with? Elianna?" Diego says to me in a cocky tone. Jerk. I sigh and walk to the locker rooms since our practice ended.

"It's fine. I don't know man she's just like any other girl. Except rich and stuck up." Lies coming out of my mouth. It tastes bitter. I never lie to him. Except I don't know why I am this time.

"I don't know Crew, you seem pretty into her. Besides the bet was kind of messed up." He says wincing at the last word. My jaw tenses at the mention of the word 'Bet'. I regret it.

"Yeah it was. Anyways, let's talk about you and Rory." I say with a smirk on my face. I see his cheeks darken under his sweaty face.

"We're progressing. I'm thinking of asking her out."

My eyes widen at his statement. Diego never takes things seriously with girls. Looks like he found his one. Thats starting to make me think... is Elianna the one?

"Wow i'm happy for you Diego! This means its pretty serious huh?" He nods in agreement. Changing quickly and grabbing his gym bag.

"Yeah it is. See you after school?"

I nod and wave goodbye to him. I have Eliannas number since I work with her. Should I text her? No thats too fast. Besides she seems like she wants to move at a slow pace. I guess I have to be patient with her. If that whats it takes to be with her.

I walk out the boys locker room and start heading to my car. Its nothing special. Well, it is. A 2020 Jeep. All black. Its only four years old and works good.

I head to my car when I see Elianna. She walks over to her G-Wagon. Pretty damn expensive if you ask me. I quickly get inside my Jeep. Looking at her through my windows. I see Rory running to her car. Her lips looking... swollen.

   Of course, Diego. He walks out the school building right after. Looking at Rory's ass. Horny motherfucker. Elianna rolls her eyes and gets in her car. Slightly flashing me, only because of her mini skirt. Nice ass, plump tits, what more could I ask for?

   Well were not together. She is totally my type on paper. Her personality really isn't.

   The more I get to know her, I guess she is a little nice. I have to stop thinking about her. Snap out of it Crew!
