Being able to create new worlds is so engaging and fun. Being able to do anything you want with a new creation. Each story can have unlimited possibilities. I've created different worlds and unless story says it's connected to another story and part of that world, every story is it's own little universe.
Some are easy and flow right out and seem to build themselves. Others are a little more uncertain and take work to figure out how they work. Research is essential but I take my literary license seriously. I do try to make things as plausible as possible but I will change or not include details to coincide with the people and world I want to create.
