Aria's pov:

There was only supposed to be one line on the test, only one pink line, but there is two. Two clear, bold lines.

"Fuck!" I shout, trying not to wake everyone else in the dormitories.

I'm sat on my bed, in my single dorm, that I am lucky enough to have a bathroom attached to:

I'm so lucky to have a dorm like this, it's completely luxurious! I had a full scholarship including one of the dorms. Believe it or not, my dorm is one of the worse dorms you can get here - this week pace being for people who are rich beyond belief.

Quite frankly, I have to keep it on the down-low that I come from a very poor background.

Flashback to a month ago:

"Come on we've got to go to this party Ari!" Pleaded my best friend, Bethany Thomas.

"Beth no~" I whine, parties and all that shit, has never been something that peeks my interest. Also, my parents throwing parties like there's no tomorrow, full of people who definitely have multiple restraining order against them. I wish I had one against them.

"Come on Ari you always say no to fun crap like this!"

I shake my head. "Exactly, you said it yourself, it's crap." I sort out my lecture notes from class a few hours ago. "I don't even understand the appeal."

She snatches the papers from my hand. "Nope!" She takes them and puts them on my desk. "You've got to let your hair down girly."

"Ughhhhhhhhh!" I groan. "Fine but never again!"

Beth squeals and wraps her arms around me, jumping on my bed where I'm sat. "Yes!"

"If you don't get off me I will change my mind."

She shoots up and goes over to my dorms door. "I'll be back to pick ya up at ten, be ready!" She then leaves me to sit in pity because of my own decision.
