"You shot me!" The man in the ski mask said as he held his gut "you're a jackass" he said while looking down at his hand that was now covered in blood then at Red Hood "ya I did and I suggest that you get out of here and have that taken care of unless you want to take a nap which you won't wake up from anytime soon" Red hood said as he pointed the gun at the man, as the mad looked him in the face he realized what he meant as he soon had turned around and ran as fast as he could.
As soon as the man was gone Red Hood picked up my belongings and helped me up seeing as I was in pain he picked me up bridal style I looked at him for a minute and then asked him "Why?" "Why what?" he responded as he kept carrying me to an old abandon apartment "why save me I'm just a nobody" I said as I looked at him. "Well, I would have saved anybody because that's what vigilante's do but however as I was about to drop in, I saw the engraving on your locket and that's what intrigued my curiosity." He said as he put you down on a bed that was similar to a medical table. You watched him attached a bag of Saline to help replace the fluids you lost from being shot, "here" he said as he handed you a pain killer. After a few minuets he gave you a shot to help you fall asleep and after some time you passed out.
Red hood's Pov:
As I was out on patrol, I saw a girl who looked to be about 16.... maybe 17 I noticed she had left Fox tech as I was scanning the area for trouble I noticed an old man crossing the street who had dropped an apple out of one of his grocery bags, as he set down his bags he turned back around I soon recognize the man as Alfred Pennyworth (aka the Wayne's butler) he had turned back around to grab the apple as he bent down I noticed a car coming at full speed not seeing the man as he was bent over, I was about to swing in and save him when I noticed the young girl ran as fast as she could grabbing the man and catching the apple as it fell saving him from being killed she slowed to a walk and set him down as she handed him back the apple, he thanked her picked up his things and walked away when it was safe to cross.
The girl crossed the road, picked up her things, and got on the bus. "huh" I wonder... how did she run that fast and why would she go out of her way to save someone? As my mind kept racing with all the possibilists I decided to follow her and ask her myself as I jumped from rooftop to rooftop to keep up with the bus. At the last stop I saw her get off the bus, as I was about to jump down and confront her but I noticed a man following her, so I decided to stay on the rooftop and follow them just to be safe. As I was following her she took a left pass the Gotham casino and keep walking I saw her look back and she seemed to see no one as she kept walking she seemed to still have that feeling that she was being followed so she took a left pass the Gotham laundry mat and then a right pass Gotham fountain but as she kept walking she looked back one more time and some how found herself in a alleyway. As she was turned to the wall I noticed her gold heart shaped locket. as I got a bit closer I was the engraving on it which read "To my daughter no matter what happens I'll always love you- your father" as I read the engraving memoirs flooded my mind.
"Y/N!... COME HERE PLEASE!" I yelled for my daughter as it was her birthday, and I had gotten her the perfect gift. We had seen it two weeks ago in a jewelry shop window, a heart shaped locket just big enough to fit a picture. I had noticed that they also had an option to get it engraved. "Wow! IT'S SO PRETTY!... I LOVE IT!... Please can I have it daddy?!" Y/N asked me as we kept walking, I took out my wallet and noticed that I didn't have quite enough for it. So, I put my wallet away and told her "Maybe Santa can bring it for you Christmas." her birthday was around Christmas time and I knew that with my Christmas bonus I would have just enough to pay for it.
