New Hire PART 1 - Egon Spengler

It was a cool crisp cloudy day in the big apple. You swiftly walked to the Ghostbusters headquarters to help unpack with the guys. They just bought the old abandoned gothic style firehouse.

You approached the doors knocked first before entering. You opened the doors and the smell musk hit your right in the face. There was Peter helping out Ray with the junk hurst that Ray spent too much money on. Ray underneath the car heard you and scooted himself under the car. "Oh hey y/n" he said with excitement and relief "thank god you are here". Peter was standing in front of the hurst fixing something with the car with the help of Ray. He peaked from the side of the hood. "Oh y/n I was seriously about to loose my mind" Peter walked towards you wiping the grease off his hands. "Some car that Ray got for 4,800 putting more money in it. We could've bought a limo!" Ray "it's not that bad it's a good running car" Peter rolled his eyes and looked at you he mouthed "good running car my ass" you chuckled. "I came here to help unpack and set up the place" you stated. "great! We are definitely gonna need it, oh also" Peter looked at his watch. "We have a new hire. We are gonna need you to show her around the place. Make sure she's got a good head on her shoulders" you nodded "what time?" Ray still working on the car from underneath "oh here shortly she's great".

You noticed Egon was missing. You've been a good friend of Rays for a long time and always had admiration for Egon. "Where's Egon" Peter quickly chimed in to answer "oh your soon to be boyfriend you mean?" You blushed "stop it it's not like that" "uh huh" Peter smirked looking at the ground and looking up the stairs. "I think he's in his study you know him".

A sudden knock came from the doors in walked in a small lady with big glasses and short hair. "Ah! Janine!" He walks over to her "good to see you" he shakes her hand with his greasy hand. She has a straight face and immediately takes her hand and wipes it with a handkerchief in her pocket "Hello Dr. Vankmen" her voice so mono. Peter then puts an arm around her "Janine you'll be working with the lovely Miss y/l/n"

You smiled at her "Hello Janine, it's nice to meet you. I'm y/n" she gave you a small smile "Nice to meet you". Peter let go of the small woman "y/n" will be showing you around the firehouse". You heard footsteps coming from up the stairs from the basement. You turned and there was Egon in his lab coat making his way to Peter. Everytime you looked at Egon the whole world stopped. Your heart fluttered.

"Y/n, y/n" Peter said. You snapped out of it and blushed and realized. "I'm sorry, oh yes this is Janine she's the new hire". Egon looked towards at Janine and introduced himself to her. Jannie had the same look you  had on your face when you saw Egon for the first time. "Nice to meet you Dr. Spengler" he nodded "Peter can I talk to you privately?" Peter put his hands in his pockets and walked with Egon downstairs but turned to both of you "now girls don't cause any trouble" you laughed "common Janine" you showed the small woman around the firehouse and where they would do test etc.

Janine was very sarcastic as you picked up on. Towards the end of the tour she helped you unpack the boys stuff. She picked up a box containing Egons stuff "oh" you exclaimed "this goes in Egons office" Janine looked at you "oh" she fixed her glasses "he's pretty cute ain't he?" You looked at Janine feeling jealousy "yes he is" Jannie smiled.
